Well, there are many variations of this multitool, even by the same company. I chose this one based on size and utility. I don’t work in the small rig world this was built for, but I do work in film and TV. It had come in handy several times in the last month. I don’t know if the next model up would help as much but I am satisfied. Also, it is very helpful when I need to leave my leatherman at home because of airplanes and it is a fine answer when people ask me if I have a quarter.

This is a great little multi-tool for photographers. The machining is great and it has all the common bits I need. The bits are very clearly laser-engraved for ease of use.

Ich habe das SmallRig x FILM RIOT 7-in-1-Klappwerkzeugset für meine Foto- und Videoproduktionen gekauft und bin sehr zufrieden mit der Leistung. Als Filmemacher brauche ich oft verschiedene Schraubenschlüssel, um mein Equipment schnell und effizient anzupassen oder zu reparieren. Dieses Set bietet alles, was ich brauche, und das in einem handlichen und tragbaren Format.Das Set enthält insgesamt 7 verschiedene Werkzeuge: 4 Inbusschlüssel, 1 Schlitzschlüssel, 1 Kreuzschlitzschlüssel und 1 Torx T25-Schlüssel. Diese Auswahl deckt die meisten Anforderungen ab, die bei meiner Arbeit anfallen. Besonders praktisch finde ich die Möglichkeit, die Schlüssel bei 90 ° oder 180 ° zu fixieren. So kann ich sie problemlos in verschiedenen Winkeln verwenden, je nachdem, wie das Equipment positioniert ist.Ein weiteres Highlight ist das kompakte, faltbare Design. Alle Werkzeuge lassen sich zusammenklappen, was nicht nur Platz spart, sondern auch hilft, die kleinen Teile nicht zu verlieren. This is the only tool you'll ever need as a creator! It has every bit you could imagine, with the right sizes for almost anything you'd find on a set or in a studio. As a video creator this tool is the perfect accessory to my rigs and tripods. The best bit in my opinion is the flat piece because everything that attaches to your camera needs a tool like that to tighten properly.The aesthetica of this tool are beautiful. Symmetrical, brushed metal, vibrant color. To release one of the tools and open this it's an easy one click of the buttons on either end. The buttons are tactile and give an Audible click once locked into place. They even lock in 3 different orientations for whatever you need.When you have this on hand you won't need any other tool kits and you're sure to be everyone's favorite person on set. Love this tool and I always have it in my pocket at work now. Smallrig always delivers incredible value and this inexpensive and perfectly crafter little tool is a true testament to that!

I put this in my car go bag, because I wanted a very lightweight tool to keep in the truck. You never know when you are going to need something like this. And I've actually already used it a couple of times. Worked flawlessly. This fit the bill perfectly for what I was wanting. It's lightweight, compact, and useful. If you drop it on the ground, you can see it because of the color. All around very happy with this little tool.

This SmallRig tool is a great addition to my desk. The green looks really rich and high end. The tool itself feels premium and you can see that when using it.I love the versatility this tool provides with the hex, Torx and screwdriver options. I would dock this slightly because of the rather large flat tool. At first I thought it was great but when I tried to use it as a flathead it was too big to work and that was a bummer when I needed it in a pinch.The locking mechanism is cool but you do need to be locked into position correctly before using the tool.

This is not a cheaply made tool, like most of the tools you see in this style. Instead, it is made more like a nice Swiss Army knife with each tool locking in two different positions. Each tool is also finally crafted with nice cleanly machine edges. I was actually very surprised when I first opened this up to see how beautifully it is made for such a simple little tool. Includes pretty popular sizes including Phillips, flathead, t-25 torx (which seems to be the most popular size) and a hex bit. I’ve carried this several weekends and combine it with a Leatherman multitool, and it is like having a whole toolbox in your pocket. Much nicer than I expected, and highly recommended.

Das 7-in-1 Klappwerkzeugset von SMALLRIG ist wirklich praktisch für unterwegs. Die Kombination aus Schraubendrehern und Inbusschlüsseln deckt viele Bedürfnisse ab, und die Möglichkeit, die Werkzeuge in mehreren Winkeln zu positionieren, ist besonders nützlich. ✨ No me esperaba tan buena calidad en una herramienta tan "simple"PROS:✅- La calidad de construcción es impecable. En color rojo, seguramente no se pierda entre todo el equipamiento que dispones para vídeo.✅- Es ligero y robusto.✅- Para sacar una herramienta, tiene un botón de seguridad que libera las herramientas, y para volver a bloquear, sólo hace falta que estén todas las herramientas en tramos de 90º de ángulo, como se puede ver en la foto.✅- Las herramientas son todas las que puedas necesitar y que se suelen utilizar en todos los accesorios de rigs para cámaras. En general, no deberías necesitar nada más.CONTRAS:🛑- Podría disponer de una pequeña pestaña, para poder sacar una herramienta individual, en vez de tener que sacar todas, para poder dejar una. Es un pequeño sacrificio a tener en cuenta.🎇 En mi caso, se terminó el tener que llevar la "moneda" o las mini herramentas sueltas por la maleta. Con tener esto en el bolsillo, lo tienes siempre a mano pase lo que pase. Ultra recomendado.
