Love the feeder, camera, etc. Worked like a charm from the get-go. Unfortunately, the wire connecting the solar panel to the camera is vulnerable to squirrels and -- sure enough -- this morning it was chewed completely through.

The local bird seed buffet is a neighborhood success. We are actively watching the robins, cardinals, and blue jays get fat. The picture and video captures are a great show and tell item during the holidays. Stay away you pesky squirrels. Just a warning to them if they review this feeder.

I love my new bird ID feeder. It was easy to setup and just happened to use the same app as my security.

Product arrived early, easy set up. iPhone IOS app works well. I bought a separate pole for my to keep the squirrels away. Camera is great quality and 2k. AI does recognize birds and stores history in app with videos. Recommend this if your a bird lover!

Overall, I think this bird feeder with camera is pretty well thought out in its design. The hard plastic seems sturdy and should last long if it does not become brittle. The manual that comes with it seems to be pretty well done and easy to follow, both for assembly, for loading the software, connecting your router. It is important to test connectivity to your router when selecting a location for the feeder, as well as a location with plenty of sun to keep the camera battery charged through the feeder's solar panel - unless you have a nearby power source, which would enable you to connect it directly via a USB-C cord. They recommend that you remove the feeder from your mount to wash it weekly on the inside and out to help prevent avian flu, and it's designed to handle that - the camera is encased in plastic on the inside. The bird seed fills in around the camera. It does not hold a lot of seed - I'm guessing no more than 4 or 5 cups (I didn't measure). The little feeding tray in front has a silicone plug to block seed from coming out (if you want), plus a place to attach it inside the lid so it doesn't get lost.I thought the perch was quite roomy (without the attachments on it, at least), and would hold up pretty well. It snaps on, then is secured with a screw on the bottom. The suet/fruit holder is great, and there are two clear plastic cups that fit into it that will hold pretty much anything you want. The hummingbird feeder is tiny and would require frequent, consistent filling to keep hummingbirds coming. It will handle larger seeds great, but really tiny seeds will easily fall through the drain slots of the seed tray onto the ground. You might be able to solve that by cutting some fine mesh to fit inside the top of the feed tray, as I've done with some other feeders we have. The entire feeder went together quite easily and quickly. I especially like how the lid rotates up from the back to enable easier filling. It also comes with several ways to mount it: strap it to a tree, attach it to the front of a wall or post, or place on top of a pole. The software notification and settings are good. I'm not sure yet how to erase the contents of the mini SD card (you must provide) from the software - I may have missed it. That would be an important feature for me, since it will eventually fill up. I'm not that interested in the software's AI feature, but it's great to have that available for those who would, the the $5 monthly subscription seems reasonable for that kind of entertainment. I like how the camera can be tipped forward to turn the camera on and off, or remove the SD card.

I love mine. Had to move it because the squirrels were climbing the tree to get into the bird seed and all I would see on my camera was squirrel faces

Works well, just doesn’t hold much birdseed.
