This was an easy install. It took less than half an hour including removing and reinstalling the bedroom door. I love the different settings for this from the collats to the remote, it all work seamlessly. However, it's quite a noisy flap. You will definitely hear your cats coming and going.

This is an excellent smart cat door. Has RFID for 3 cats so all of our cats get one. There is also a remote control to change between 4 modes of open, lock, outside or inside only. Very smart and thoughtful. This will prevent unwanted guests from entering, which is critical for our neighborhood, so very happy.

I have one major issue with this automatic cat door which is that the rfid tag only activates the door unlocking mechanism about half the time. Many times i have watched my cat walk up to the door and start trying to push it open only to see that the door is still locked. I am going to attempt to contact the seller and ask for recommendations. I will update this review after i hear back... 5/24/25

This cat door should be used only on interior doors and the picture shows that is can be used on exterior doors for raccoons and stuff like that. But I don't imagine that this would work good on exterior doors for many reasons. But among that, the collars that are included are not breakaway collar, so I would not recommend having these collars on your cat and having them outside because it could pose a risk to the cat, I would maybe consider taking the rfid tags and putting them on a breakaway collar. Also, the battery indication light on the door only flashes when it batteries depleted, I wish there was a indication symbol that would show you when the battery's running low, so what you can change it before it completely depletes. If you miss the signal of the red light flashing, it could mean that your cat would not have access to that room. Overall, really easy to install the instructions are really straightforward, and there's only a few buttons on the door so easy to navigate and set up.

Does not work! We cut a hole into our wall that fit this cat door and we connected the collars and the collar kept disconnecting, or wouldn’t even connect at all. When one did finally connect and stay connected for a while (a while being a day) it disconnected again it wouldn’t reconnect. I tried different RFID chips and that didn’t work either. The door is faulty. This is an absolute waste of your money.

The smart cat door is working as advertised. I was able to replace the one that I am currently using with this one and it fit luckily for me. You do need to use four AA batteries to run it. I am still trying it out so far but wonder about getting extra collars because although three is a decent amount, I need a couple more than that. If manufacture can let me know where to get more I would greatly appreciate it.

Very nice and well made cat door. As a middle-aged woman, I have developed many skills and have easily installed a cat door before so this one was just as easy to install. Comes with three cat collars (spare one for us) so my two cats can get into their space and my similar sized Maltipoo cannot. Keeps the dog out of a room but the cats have easy access. It’s worth the investment so my little dog doesn’t eat all their food.
