I bought this dish drainer to replace our existing drainer that we have had since 1995! Seriously, 1995! The old strainer has lasted that long and was still usable, but it is just beginning to show some yellowing from the plastic coating aging, I guess. I think I should buy another one because it was an incredible stroke of luck to find the exact same thing 30 years later. Alas, something really can be made that doesn't self-destruct, so you have to buy a new one!It fits our stainless steel double sink perfectly. I highly recommend this dish drainer if you need one—you won't be disappointed.

The main reason for the purchase of this drainer is it fits in the kitchen double-sink. It replaces the one that was twenty+ years old. Do not like the metal ones that are not coated.

Small size is what I wanted

I like the size (single small sink area) and color (white) of this drainer, as most are just stainless these days. It was the most expensive of its size, but that could be due to the white option. Unfortunately, it arrived without a utensil basket as described in the item details and also as pictured. Without the holder, there’s no place for your forks, knives, etc.., and there’s an open area taking up a quarter of the drainer.When I tried to report the missing item, the link in Amazon took me to the wrong area, where you can only post reviews, so I couldn’t report the issue directly to the seller. This is on Amazon’s web/tech side, not the seller, howe er it still effected the stars in this rating because there was no recourse for rectifying the missing part of the item. It was thus, unusable.

Just a quick Note that if you wash your silverware or utensils 1st and they are heavy at all - they actually flip the Container up because there is no foot underneath the utensil holder So the weight Distribution is off. The one that I had before this had 4 plastic feet equally distributed all around the 4 corners so that would not happen. Aside from that it seems good.

Being a former Rubbermaid fan, my last several dishdrainers were Rubbermaid. The last one I received by them, in 2016, has rusted through the rubber coating twice! My husband had to use a special coating to cover the rusting on it, and now it has rusted through again. Went back on Amazon and went to Rubbermaid and could not believe the price increase for the same dish drainer. Plus being so unhappy with the last one I searched on...and am I glad I did! I found my perfect dishdrainer by SMART DESIGN! Great price, received quicker than stated....AND wow! This dishdrainer is thickly coated ! Beautiful, and shows how superior it is to Rubbermaid! Absolutely love it and highly recommend this dishdrainer!! Thank you SMART DESIGN ! I can’t believe I’m so excited about a dishdrainer, but I am!
