Width: 1.5 inchHeight: 1.625 inchDepth: 0.6 inchThis is a fun lock. It starts out completely unlocked, pressing it with any finger will unlock the lock. Then you just long press to set it to training mode, then tap the sensor multiple times with a slightly different angle so it will remember it the different variations. After 8+ taps, it is done. Then you can lock it, tap the sensor, and it magically unlocks. It is magical when you see this. I know people should be completely used to this since TouchID was invented over 10 years ago. But to see this working on a non-digital device, this is just so cool.I also like that they came prepared, in case you're unable to open the lock with your fingerprint, they have USB key that will reset the lock to a default state. I don't quite like that I have to retrain my fingerprints, but I am happy to report that key does exactly what it is made for.I highly recommend this for a carry-on item on a long flight. You most likely don't need it, but if you want that extra assurance, this is an easy lock to use and will take 0 seconds to unlock. No more hiding the dials on a lock while you rotate it to the correct code.

Oh my gosh I love this lock SO SO SOO MUCH! I always have a bunch of kids and grandkids at my house and my husband and I both take controlled medications so there simply isn't such a thing as keeping them "too secure". Little kids will inevitably find things they shouldn't have and teenagers - or friends of my teenagers, will search for controlled substances without abandon...if it is to sell them or take them. I am a therapist and I believe in medications, and yes, many medications used for mental illness are controlled. There is a time and a place for such medications but they should always, without fail, be locked up.The problem with locks is they come with keys. and keyed locks can be picked and opened and it can look like sooner has even been into that lock at all. There are some exceptions. Round keys are a lot more difficult to pick, however, those locks also show you exactly which key you need to open it and all you need to do if purchase the correct number on Amazon or at a lock shop. The thing I love about this lock and that it is nearly perfect. My husband and I each have one fingerprint that will open it, we were also able to change the "code" from the one that came preprogrammed....and can I just say - figuring out how a CODE is possible with a lock that has nothing but a place for finger prints is not the easiest task I have ever accomplished. In fact it was the only thing I thought I would complain about when I decided to write my review on this lock. But, when I FINALLY got it figured out, and got it changed, it just made me feel one more little bit safe about what is inside that locker. It does come with a "key" of sorts. It looks like an adapter to a plug that will allow a c charger to connect to something. It is WAY more likely that I will end up losing that key or forget which one it is or where it is or what it is for, then it is likely that I will ever run out of battery on the lock itself. One you charge that thing up it can last for 6 months or more - and that is opening it every day! I have it set on my phone alarm to charge it for a couple of hours every month on the 1st. That way I don't forget and I will never need the key - it is safer that way anyway. This lock works SO incredibly well!. You have to put your print exactly on the sensor and you can hear the mechanism open. Then you have to pull a little bit for the wire to be completely released from the lock itself. To close it again you simply put the wire end back into the hole on the top of the lock. No worrying about forgetting you code, or losing the key or you kids somehow managing to get it picked open, because there is no place to pick it! Setting it up was a little difficult to learn, but not impossible. It is really easy to open once you program your finger and it doesn't seem to make mistakes.I am completely in love with this lock and in love with how fast it opens too. I can't say enough sood about it. I am going to get a few more! That way, I can program them before giving them to my kids and they will never know that one of my fingers actually opens their padlock too. I won't have to worry about where they are keeping their things they don't want me knowing about because certainly they will keep them in their locker, but I will be able to check on them every once in a while too just to make sure there isn't any weed or vapes or anything in there. Awesome!

As someone who often travels, especially to areas with higher pickpocket risks, finding the right security measures for our belongings is always a priority. One of my recent acquisitions was the Larimuer Smart Fingerprint Padlock, and it’s been a game changer for securing our travel backpack while we’re on the go. I purchased it primarily for its compact size and biometric fingerprint unlocking, which seemed like the perfect solution for quickly securing and accessing our backpack during our overseas travels. The ease of use is one of the first things that impressed me. Traditional travel locks with keys or even old-school wire locks are fine, but they can be cumbersome when you need quick access to your bag. The fingerprint sensor on the Larimuer padlock opens in a fraction of a second—way faster than fumbling around with a key or combination. It’s not only convenient but incredibly efficient when we’re navigating busy areas like public transit or crowded tourist spots where I want to keep my backpack securely locked but still accessible for frequent access. The padlock can store up to 20 different fingerprints, which is fantastic for family travel or if you have multiple people using the lock. This means my wife, kids, and I can all have our prints registered for quick entry. Additionally, the lock comes with an emergency manual code override, which adds an extra layer of security. I’ve had moments when my fingers have been wet from swimming or covered in band-aids, and it's comforting to know that the emergency override gives me a backup option to unlock the padlock if needed. It’s a thoughtful and practical feature for anyone who might encounter situations where their fingerprints aren’t being recognized. While this lock is perfect for my travel needs, I have to acknowledge that it’s not designed for heavy-duty security, like on a storage locker or gym locker. The wire could easily be cut with bolt cutters or even pliers, so I wouldn’t rely on it in more high-stakes scenarios. But for what it’s designed for—securing a travel backpack, suitcase, or gym bag—it’s excellent. The security is more about deterrence than prevention, and I feel much safer knowing that my backpack is locked when I’m on a busy subway or walking through crowded streets. The construction of the lock is solid, with a durable feel and a modern design that fits right in with my other travel gear. It’s sleek and doesn’t take up much space, which is ideal when you’re trying to keep your travel gear streamlined. The setup was simple, and the fingerprint sensor was responsive right out of the box.Overall, the Larimuer Smart Fingerprint Padlock is a solid, reliable lock for everyday travel use, offering peace of mind with its smart, biometric functionality. While not suited for high-security needs, it excels at what it’s meant to do: providing quick, easy access to your belongings while keeping them secure enough to thwart opportunistic thieves. For frequent travelers like me, it’s a valuable tool that I’m happy to keep in my pack. I’m giving it four stars due to its excellent convenience, but would love to see a slightly more durable version for higher-security applications.
