Purchased 2nd one after 1st one broke a few weeks after purchasing it. The power cord is like a cell phone cord. Once part plugs into the mat, the other part plugs into the adapater and the adapter plugs into the wall. I moved quickly and the tip of the cord broke, so I figured it was my own fault and have been really careful with the 2nd one. Today I went to put the 2nd one on and it wouldn't turn on. I unplugged the cord from the mat, then uplugged it from the wall and from the adapter to "reset" it. When I pulled the plug from the adapter, it broke just like the 1st one did. And, low and behold, I am passed the Amazon return window, so I'm stuck with 2 heat pads that don't work. Amazon said to contact manufacturer, but their website is no longer active. I sent an email, but have not heard back from them as of the submission of this review.

Love the idea and it is comforting and pain relieving. BUT that big hard heavy battery thing comes loose the second time I sit down and hits me in the back of the head every time. Thought about finding an even bigger heavier brick to hang from the big heavy battery ... but what the heck

I love this heating pad! It warms up quickly and is perfect for knocking the chill off. It gets super hot, so be careful, but it’s great for cozy comfort when you need it.

Got this for my reclining leather theater chair while watching tv. Works pretty well for that so far. What I like:1. Sherpa surface is comfier (and better looking) than plastic heated seat covers.2. Small sleek controller embedded in pad (instead of clunky one in cord)3. Rolls up nicely when not in use.4. Doesn't automatically shut off after a certain amount of time (don't like my seat going cold while I'm still on it)What could be better:1. Make it a little wider (so I can spread out more in chair)2. Provide optional attachable strap for holding it upright on chair.3. Heat takes awhile to ramp up (and never gets super hot)

The pad works as advertised. The control has 3 heat settings that functions fine. So why 3 stars? The power plug on the pad needs to be redesigned. It is very critical how you plug the power cord into the plug on the pad. If you don't get all the extra material around the plug out of the way, it is difficult to insert the cord where it makes contact. Our application for the pad was to place it on the back and seat of an easy chair for warmth in winter. It probably was not designed with this in mind, but it would not stay put and was constantly moving around.

It stopped heating after less than 3 months. The indicator button light says it is on and should be heating, but it simply doesn't get warm anymore on any of the 3 heat settings. I've never washed it, so water penetration isn't the issue. It's always been on my office chair.Until it broke, it worked very well with a couple of annoyances. The USB connection is a weak spot, and it would need to be unplugged and re-plugged about once per day. Holding the on button for 3 seconds it a little annoying.Another weak spot is the location of the on button. It's easy to accidentally turn on or off when using this as a chair pad because the button sits right under your thigh and it doesn't take much pressure to activate.
