Looks exactly as pictured and is a solidly built oil filter wrench for your Toyota or Scion. I’m using mine on the 2015 Scion XB, and it works perfectly.Easy to grip the filter, even when wet, and if it is - simply wrap a shop towel around it and it’s good to go. Popping it on and off is simple — there’s no fuss or having to pry it off, like some other filter wrenches, this one fits perfectly and is an awesome value for the price, it’ll last forever if you care for it.Comes in a nice sturdy cardboard box for storage or hang it on a nail thru the socket hole or on your pegboard. Full disclosure I got mine thru the Amazon Vine program, but I’d order another at the current cost without flinching again anytime if I should need one!

I would use this over plastic or cast aluminum any day.

Really good filter wrench!I've used so many ways to get the filter off, a cheap hook shaped wrench, a cinching wrench, and when nothing works, a large pair of channel locks, or the last resort, pound a screwdriver through the filter! The cap wrench is the one that always works, and while my last cap wrench, is nothing but a stamped piece of sheet metal, this is a robust stainless steel wrench, that uses the whole 3/8 drive, and can also use a socket or wrench. In my case it's for a Subaru, and a Yamaha motorcycle. The cap wrench is the way to go! If you want a really great one, how could you beat thick SS and hex head?I don't know about Toyota, and this has some notches built in that must be for that.

This filter socket seems to be well built and fits perfectly on our 2019 Honda Odyssey’s oil filter. However, my socket wrench becomes too bulky to fit in the tight space where the filter is located. I ended up not using this and got the plyer type filter wrench. In hindsight, socket extensions would have probably worked with this filter socket. Before using this, make sure you know where your filter is to confirm if socket extensions are needed.

I got this oil filter wrench because I have one that I've ordered before but no matter what I do, it just does not fit, way too small. So needless to say I was skeptical about this one as well but I'm happy to say that it is a much better fit than the one I already have. Compared to my other one, the inner diameter of the outer ring is much wider. This one also has a better build quality than my other one. It's nice and solid with good looking welds. I encourage you to take a look at the measurements I've posted in the images and measure your filter housing to make sure this works for you before you buy but it works great for me.

I have had to get my girlfriend's oil changed at a garage for quite a while. This wouldn't be such a big deal, but I have worked on cars as a hobby for over 30 years. Not just little stuff, I'm talking about changing motors and transmissions and cylinder heads. Building my own motors. Automotive electrical work, you name it. Do you know how much it sucks to have to take a car to a garage for an oil change when you work on cars for people all the time? I actually do maintenance work now and working on cars is just a hobby. But I have almost every tool and decent equipment to do almost every job, That is except a wrench to fit a Toyota oil filter. This thing fits so much better than the old cup style oil filter brushes for other cars. This thing grabs on solid and it's taking it off so simple. It's a very heavy duty, well made tool that will last forever. If you have a Toyota, get this tool. The Oil changes on these cars is simple if you have a way to get the filter off. It would definitely save you quite a bit of money. It will probably save what you pay for it on the first oil change
