Got this and DYI'd the programming and got blade cut for $35. Key service would have charged $270. So far, so good!

After 4 different aftermarket keys, this one finally worked on my 2018 Bolt EV. It paired right away, and I am so relieved! Can’t speak to anything else but this is a huge plus over the scores of apparent worthless crap being sold as Bolt key fobs. Note, if you fail to pair a 2nd key and only have a single key paired to a Bolt, the car tries to go back into fob pairing mode each time you unlock and won’t start. You have to hold down the power button for 10-15s each time, then it will start. So frustrating.
