Updated Review - I've reduced the stars the 3. There are some things about this toilet I love. I adore the heated seat. I had no idea that it would be so nice. I like that the toilet flushes automatically and that I can close the lid at a touch of a button. There are a number of things that are really not as good as the attachment bidet I had before. First, I find the bidet spray pretty mediocre. It doesn't seem to have a lot of force even though it has an adjustment. My old inexpensive bidet seemed to have much more adjustability. Also, this has a bidet and a rear spray, but I don't think they can be used together. The old one could. Finally, after pressing bidet, there is quite a lag before it begins to spray. The things I really don't like about this bidet are twofold. First, before the dryer starts, it flushes and then for a few seconds I feel air and mist which I assume is coming from the flush. I really really don't like to be misted by the toilet. I don't know anyone who would. I wish I understood why it does that and what I can do to fix it.Second, the water that comes from the bidet isn't a consistent temperature. It seems to be coldish one minute and hotter the next. Maybe it's a problem with the electricity, but I don't know how to tell. If someone could tell me, that would be great. The seat stays hot, why doesn't the water? Doesn't it have a water heater?Original Review -I have been looking forward to this toilet for months. We didn't have electricity nearby and my initial estimates indicated that we would have to install another line from our basement to accommodate the heater/blower, a really big expense. Eventually, I found an electrician that said he could run a wire from our light switch.I also had to find a plumber and at least here, plumbers wanted to charge me between $400-600 for a smart toilet. After quite a bit of searching, I found one willing to do it for $225, but he had trouble with the thread sizing which is apparently nonstandard. He buys supplies at Home Depot and they had nothing to match the threads to connect it to our fittings. I may be using the wrong terminology. He ended up charging me an extra $100 for soldering to make the proper connection. He's a licensed plumber, not a handyman. I haven't seen anyone else mention this issue though. So, I've now spent probably about $600 for installation. I'm excited to have it, but also concerned about whether it will be worth the extensive effort and cost to have it installed.I think it looks great. It's super modern and very high tech. I'll write more about how it is to use when I've had some more experience with it. At this point, I've tried it's various features but haven't yet fallen in love.

This toilet has been amazing. All of the features are fantastic and the flush power is great. I really love waking up and having a warm toilet seat and a warm spray of water. It’s so refreshing. Just make sure you have electricity near by where you install this. We have a water closet without a plug so we had to have one installed. Not a big deal, but just keep in mind that it does need power. Some people forget that.

Took a month to install the toilet, but not because of the toilet. I had to install an electrical outlet near it, which took a lot of time to do the wiring, then the finish work. Once that was finished, the toilet installation was a snap. There has not been a problem since installation, although I'm still feeling a little bitter about the additional work required. On the other hand, my wife LOVES the way the toilet kind of gives itself a wash (I think it's called a "prewash"), which helps keep it cleaner overall. I'm trying to get over having to install the outlet. But the toilet is great.

How have I not tried a smart toilet before? This thing is awesome. I just bought a house and this was my first installation/upgrade. My husband installed it and it didn’t take very long, about 1.5 hours. He mentioned the instructions not being good but luckily he has knowledge in this area and was able to figure most of it out. The features all work well. There are a few things I haven’t gotten to try yet because I’m still trying to figure it all out but I do love having a smart toilet!

Finally got this toilet installed. WOW. I didn;t expect this toilet to have an entire personality. This is definitely a luxury and the features are high tech. It was easy to install, but I needed to run the electric closer to the counter so that I could plug it in since the cord isn't that long. Electrical around water tends to freak me out, but it seems to be working nicely. The heated seat is my favorite feature. The flush is also nice and sturdy. I need another so I can install it in the guest bathroom. What a throne

There's a lot I love about this bidet toilet. And first order of business, I had a handyman do my installation. I was lucky enough to have an electric outlet positioned pretty close to the toilet, and that's important because in order to ensure the electric components work, it needs to be plugged in, which means if you want a perfect aesthetic you will likely need to rewire things behind your wall.My handyman was able to install this over about six hours total, but it did involve a trip to the hardware store because the hose aperture is not standard for the US, so you will need to buy an adapter or replace the hose altogether. With that purchase of additional hardware, it hooked up quite easily. The bidet and heated water functions are all working amazingly. As for the lid opening via sensor, that never works. It just doesn't work at all. But I don't really care about that. What does work is all bidet functions, quick and effective flushing, including a quick pre-rinse that keeps anything from sticking to the bowl, a nice low blue light that is just enough and not too bright, and the lid closing softly behind you. It also automatically flushes for you, which is great and also terrible, because I'm afraid it will create a habit of just walking away from the toilet which could be consequential in other settings lol. Overall I am very happy with the toilet and how it looks in my bathroom
