This lighter has a sharp powerful flame that is much like a propane torch. This very hot and focused flame can be used for everything from lighting wood to soldering heavy wires.A cool feature is a bright blue led that lights up the tank when the torch is being used. If the battery would die it can be replaced but the battery will last for a very long time.I'd buy more than one because you are going to want to have several of these around.

The up down switch is not working and I don't think it's 6 months old yet. Probably won't buy again.

This really was the lighter that would finally be the one.Pros:Nice big tank for a little lighter, don't have to refill it constantly.The see through design is awesome.Small and easy to carry.The lighter turns an electric blue when you light it... not just the flame, the whole lighter! super cool.Easy to adjust flame height.First-click lighting success all the time.Cons:Better have a manly thumb, this baby needs a firm grip and good amount of force to operatePretty loud lighting mechanism....And the biggest con of all: after three weeks the body separated from the tank, leaving it unusable.My quest for the perfect torch lighter continues... Maybe if this ever becomes prime eligible I'll try again.

Spent a lot of money on fancy cigar torches and they quit on you after a couple months? Lose them in travelling? Then I can't recommend this enough. I've had a couple of these now for at least 2 years and they just keep lighting up! They refill easily and burn well with several brands of butane. I've dropped one in the lake fishing and while a little frustrating, it wasn't as painful as if I'd dropped in a $50+ lighter. In fact they are so inexpensive, I had a spare already in the boat glove-box!

Bought as a gift. They were pleased after figuring out the correct flame height adjustment and need to remove a tab to get the light to glow.

Good flame, easy to fill, cool light. Given the reliability (or lack thereof) of the $100 lighters I have bought in the past, I can't see any reason to not buy the Smart Torch Titan.

I've been a cigar smoker for over 20 years. I've owned high end lighters that eventually get clogged and stop working. I bet I've spent over $1000 on lighters that I eventually have to throw away. This lighter is good and inexpensive. The flame is very strong,windproof and is easy to adjust. I especially like the LED light feature. At $9.95 I can have one in my fishing box, golf bag and in the garage (Man cave) and still be better off than owning a Colibri. Buy it you won't be disappointed!!!
