Ordered the 100 pack of "SmartBuy" DVD discs because I am always running out of DVD discs when I need one. Buying 100 should last me for a few years. I enjoy putting videos of our vacations and our grandkids on the DVDs and then giving them to our family for them to enjoy. It's amazing how fast the grandkids grow up and I don't want to risk loosing the videos due to some mishap. Have burned about 10 DVDs so far and have not had a single mishap. The only problem that I have with them is my own fault. I always will print an image onto the DVD for easily knowing what is on the DVD. I have always used the "White Face" DVD for printing and ordered the "Silver" by mistake. I really do not like the way that the "Silver" faced prints, but again, that's my fault. Would definitely order the "SmartBuy" DVDs again, but only in the White Face.

This is our 2nd order of Printable DVD Disks. The surface easily takes Sharpie lettering. We have had reliable playback operations with no loss of data for over a year.

Great discs! Sort of a satin finish. not glossy. Perfect for use with a felt-tipped marker. I'll buy more of these. They're excellent! :-]

I've gone through about 30 out of 100 and no coasters yet. The surface is nice.. has a slightly rough/gritty/papery feel, which is what makes it printable. I haven't used them for inkjet printing, just wanted a top coating that's a little more substantial than just a thin, basic lacquer. Shipping/packaging was good - they were packed tightly and there's nothing to bang around like when there in a spindle.I bought Taiyo Yuden previously and they were fine, but didn't seem to be all that incredible like people would claim. There were a few duds out of 100 and they were more expensive so decided to try something new. Maybe the difference is in how long the organic dye lasts or resists UV, but I keep all discs out of light and store nothing too critical.
