This is the cheapest, useless piece of C__ __ P I have ever seen. Sadly just took it out of the box and can't return it - 15 days past the return window. NEVER use this on the boat that you really want to protect. The rivets are super cheap and sloppy. Latching the Gunwale strap is impossible since they riveted the latch backwards. So it is USELESS!!!! This is the first time I have written a review on a Amazon purchase. After years of good products I guess I was due for a piece of junk.

Product does not have a "button" as the description states, not that it matters. The strap on mine at least is missing a stitching section and is just not in good shape. The velcro section is poorly cut, is crooked and is frayed. There is no clear way to have the lever tighten the load of the boat as it doesn't actually hinge preventing its intended use. Just not a good product. Don't buy.

No working hinge to secure strap and boat at appropriate tension. I have the boat buckle brand on my other boat, way better , will be returning this one
