I wear these while riding my recumbent trike, and I think they are great! Previously I would always wear Pearl Izumi products for cycling. However, on my recumbent trike I don't need the chamois pad to protect by butt. I love the feel of the Smartwool fabric, and they appear to be very well made. I think I may purchase a 2nd pair.

using them for winter hiking and base layer for skiing. Great fit, wicking ability and compression fit. These are now my go to tights for cold days. Just bought my third pair. Smart wool never disappoints.

Bought a mine for a base layer for ice fishing here in New England! The comfort and warmth in these bottoms are amazing! I’m always wearing mine (2XL)! I’ll be purchasing more for sure!
