Years ago I did a lot of rock climbing. Recently I've added resistance band training to work on an injured shoulder. I use this carabiner to attach to the three wall anchors I mounted to loop the resistance bands through. Rock climbing carabiners are superior to typical gym carabiners because they have smoother edges and won't damage resistance bands. They also have a larger gate and are easier to clip resistance bands into. Hope this helps someone.

I love carabiners but I don't use them for mountain climbing. I take at lease two-three of them with me when traveling and it seems like they always come in handy.
