Perfectly sized for a linelock with 1" tubular webbing! Could probably use it up to 1.25" wide with no issues. Would highly recommend!

While not it’s intended purpose, for under $10 this SMC Rigging Ring is excellent for a silent fidget toy. Rolling it between finger tips, flipping it end over end like a coin, and rolling it around and around the index finger are all extremely satisfying. The Red color in person is a matte maroon color, not the orange color in the product picture. 5/5, would recommend to anyone who enjoys skill toys as a budget must-have!

I haven’t used this for climbing yet but it’s the second one I have owned. I love the fit/finish & has just a little bit of weight to it. I like the red color but wish they would offer some brighter colors in the future.

The outer diameter of this ring is small enough it will fit inside (and pass through) the more common large "rappel ring". This allows you to make attachment slings or cambium savers (use a second ring to retrieve, not your throw weight).

Orange apparently is dark maroon.

Nice slim design. Fits well with other rigging.

A little thicker than the Omega ring and because of this has a higher kN value (32 vs 20). I will eventually replace my Omega rappel rings, since I use these rings in some anchoring setups to distribute load evenly across slings or static lines. In my opinion, both rings would be great for hammock camping.
