Very very solid and useful for my Nikon cameras!!! You can lock the shutter for multiple exposures such as astro-photograhy.

Extremely well built and very functionally designed.I highly recommend this product. More expensive than some others on the market but well worth the money.

Tried using this with a Nikon D810. It worked well for single shots but as soon as I shot in continuous low, after the third shot the receiver would lockup and can cause the camera to fire until the max shots setting. I have mine set for 7. The receiver would stay locked until I powered it off and back on to reset it. I even tried a 3 shot bracket to see what would happen and the receiver again locked up and fired off all 7 shots. If you need a wireless remote for single shots this one is fine but if you need to do bracketing or continuous shooting, look elsewhere.

Have been had longer than two years and mostly worked with the wired shutter release controller, which is actually attached to my camera. Yesterday, decided to take family photos using the wireless shutter release controller and be pleased by accommodating with a simple manner after just changing an original battery. Would like to leave an appreciation.

Pleasantly surprised by unit. Works like a charm. Only think I don't like is the hanging wireless. "Problem" is not unique to this brand/model as others are the same or worse. Just wish it had a better and more dishing way to clip onto something.

Easy to use straight out of the box, I was able to trigger the shutter without the need for cables. It works flawlessly and would recommend it to anyone wanting the convenience of wireless control. One small problem encountered was when mounted to the hotshoe, you cant pop up the inbuilt flash to be used as a command unit, I just sat it beside and all was ok.

No matter what you are doing photography wise, this is must have. Low light photography, nature, self portraits, plant close ups this item fits all your needs. No set up learning curve, plug it in and start tripping the shutter remotely. Ever wanted to be in a group picture, set the self timer and run to your spot and hope you got the timer set right, well never again. Think about this, traveling and you want to be in a picture. Focus, compose, find a trusted soul, hand them the camera saying don't do anytime but point the camera. Get in the frame and trip the shutter when you want. Human tripod assist but you control. Well worth the money.
