My go to brand for cookware is definitely SMEG. The products are all designed in Italy. This pan was a great buy for its size and use. I am very pleased with this pan.

I use this pan for everything now. So versatile and so easy to clean. It's a pleasure to use. I recommend it.

Beautiful pan with one caveat, it pops and crackles while cooling and sometimes while heating up also. The lid did this once also. This makes me nervous even though Smeg claims this is normal for their cookware due to various metals that are cooling and heating at different temps. I am thinking about returning because I wonder if it will cause metals to separate or fail eventually. Especially because of the bottom plate. Still debating about returning. Heats evenly, nice non-stick interior surface and exterior very easy to clean. Given the high price seems odd it should make all these sounds.

Delivery for this product was quick. Packaged very well. Not a lightweight pan but very solid and sleek in design. Although, I haven't tried it out yet, I look forward to using this pan for years to come.
