I have purchased many other sprayers over the years and this is by far the best one of all. The size is perfect and it comes with a selection of different spray heads, which allows many different applications.

Excellent sprayer! Durable although its not as good as a battery at keeping even stream..sometimes I don't need that sort of power. This sprayer is ideal for a home owner. Also the customer service is fantastic unlike most of the junk on Amazon. If you have any issue with your sprayer the customer support goes above and beyond to support its product. I had a really bad kinked hose that hurt pressure and the kink would not come out... they sent me out a new hose assembly.

Sprayer is excellent quality and met my short-term needs, although I probably purchased the wrong unit. I needed a sprayer for Oxylic Acid-based wood preparation. I did not realize the R200 (#190462) was for Turf and Agriculture spraying only until I read the manual. I did some research and thought that the R200F would have been a better choice ("Cleaning and Restoration Series", #190456), but after much research determined the R200F was the same as the R200 except the brass-tipped nozzle I received had been replaced by a plastic-tipped nozzle in the R200F, so I did not return the R200. Then the company that makes these came back to me and indicated that I should consider the unit designed to handle acids (#190449), but without information to tell me what the difference was. Both units claim "Viton seals", although gaskets are a different color in the pictures (brown in R200, green in "Acid" model). The R200 tolerated the acid and worked well for the small amount of spraying I did, and I washed it out well, so hopefully I can use it when I do my entire deck next year...

What a sprayer. Strong, easy to pump, and works great. Excellent directions and extra parts. With the variety of nozzles any pattern can be achieved. Definitely a top quality sprayer. Does an excellent job for the homeowner.

This is about three steps up from your everyday big box bought sprayer. And I think that it is well worth it. Everything about it seems designed for reliability.

I bought my Smith R200 in Sept 2016 and it is now April 2023, and until I recently foolishly used this sprayer as unintended, it worked flawlessly. In fact, it still works but not as well as I became accustomed to over the past 6.5 years. All other pump sprayers I've ever had only lasted 2 years max!So, now I am going to buy a new pump sprayer, but because the Smith R200 has gone up a lot in price and I have found another sprayer with the same customer rating but with 63,000 more reviews AND it addresses the ONLY qualm I have with the Smith R200 and that being, you have to attach different spray nozzles to get different spray patterns with the R200, but the new only requires you to turn the nozzle to go from fine to coarse spray, which is all I need, and it is also less than half the price of the R200 (about what I paid for it in 2016).I may end up regretting my decision, and if I do I will let you all know.

I started with one of the home depot brand sprayers - stay away from those. The inside pump thing stopped making pressure, so I decided to upgrade to a chapin, which I also got on here. It's a really great sprayer, I still have it and use it for things sometimes, but it doesn't have a release valve, which is OK but not ideal. Then I saw this bad boy - metal wand, other bits and bobs and do-dads... all for an affordable price. How could I resist? Well, spoiler alert - I couldn't, I bought it. And man am I happy with it. I have a rockscape yard that, despite the ground cover underneath, sprouts up little weeds and grass and stuff (it's 8 years old, what are ya gonna do), so I'm out killing those little boogers every couple of months through spring and summer, and this thing does a great job. The tip is super adjustable. It has a release valve. Everything is constructed really well. Every time I grab it, I think to myself, "I really am glad I have this thing." And it never disappoints. You can't put a price on that.

Worked well, seems sturdy, pricier than other options available, though I am expecting this to last for several years. I believe if the top of the pump/lock mechanism had more metal components, it may last longer, time will tell. Believe cleaning after each use will make these pumps last longer

Holds up to multiple person abuse daily for the past 6 months at a horse rescue. The added plastic base/tray (that holds the wand off the ground) is the reason I purchased due to staff dragging and setting the sprayer down on concrete and stone in which puts tiny holes in other types and this one has held up great. Could be cheaper but a good product overall. Recommended

I purchased this sprayer about a year ago, and just purchased a second one. I have multiple sprayers so I don't cross contaminate...i.e one for grass / all vegetation killer, one for weed killer in the grass, and one for my garden (bugs & etc). Anyway, after purchasing a year ago, this has been my # 1 sprayer and have it allocated to use for all vegetation killer....Can't afford "leakage" or to have anything drip out of the tip, because whatever the fluid touches, it kills. This sprayer doesn't leak anywhere and when you stop spraying, it stops immediately. In addition, it has many adjustments for various mists and etc.I also like that you can snap the wand on the side and it has a catch spot on the bottom. The pressure release valve is very high quality. The spray seals nicely and doesn't take much to pump it up.Consequently, I used much "cheaper" made sprayers for my other two applications....Weeds in the grass and bugs in my garden....Figured it wouldn't matter as much if they leaked and etc...or had pressure please. However, I came to the conclusion that this sprayer is SO MUCH better and not that much more expensive, I would gradually replace my other two sprayers with this model....One at a time. I plan on buying a third one next month, or having one for each application. Sure, I could really clean it out and etc, but so much easier to keep one dedicated for each task.Unless you want to pay $300+ for an elite model, this sprayer is the best price to quality ratio on the market.Highly recommend!
