This thing is well worth the money. Most gazing balls this size are pretty pricey, but this is just as nice, a good size and delivery was fast. I'll probably get another one.

I was anticipating a much larger ball. There is no way that they didn't know that this was only a 6 inch ball. Therefore it isn't worth keeping!

It's a lovely gazing ball but not packaged well; at least mine came just in a plastic bag. If not for the sturdiness of the material it would surely have arrived broken in some way. As it is, the ball is a good strong metal of some sort? It says stainless steel on the product page. I do think it's quite pretty and the colors remind me of a prism effect you would see on an oil slick. I have a stand I can use for this and am planning to have this in my yard alongside my cacti and succulents. I'm big on drought tolerant gardening right now and adding decorative elements like this will allow me to the jazz up my yard without adding more vegetation that will require a heavy moisture load.
