This little tool is well made. From just a functional aspect, it seems to be precision machined. The metal press and punch mechanism is heavy and should stand up to years of use. The plastic handles are thick heavy plastic and provide a good grip. The built in hole punch popped right through some thick leather belt material I had laying around. The dies look to be well machined and firmly press the snap blanks into place. Once installed the snaps are solid and work like they should. I was going to have a zipper replaced on an old favorite leather jacket until I found out how much that cost. I will use this tool to resurrect my old friend. This tool works as advertised and i would not hesitate to recommend!

I was impressed with the weight of the press pliers, theyโre solid medal and hard plastic components, nothing thatโs going to break over time.The variety of snaps and fasteners included are a great start, and it would be easy to add more to this for the truly dedicated seamstress/designer.The included instructions could be a little more thorough, but if youโre buying this, you probably already know how to use it. Or if youโre a novice like me, you can figure it out (took me about 5 minutes).The fabric hole punch on the pliers has a ruler on it so you can make precise measurements and make sure youโre putting your snaps in the right spot.No complaints, Iโm really happy with it!

I am really impressed with the over all quality of this snap setting kit. I love that you have a hole punch build right in the unit and I don't need to pull out my hole puncher just to set a snap. I make a lot of thing for my son and where he has autism he likes things to have snaps vs velcro (he doesn't like the feel or the sound it makes), he loves different bags to organizes his fantasy game pieces but a few of his organizes had velcro so I need to remove it and add snaps. This tool made my difficult task a lot easier and I am really happy with the end result. This feels more like a tool you would get from the hardware store instead a cheap tool from the domestic department at Walmart. I love the selection of different snaps you can choose from, so you can do many different projects with this kit. Great starter kit for a great price, that isn't full cheap garbage like a lot other kits.

This is a decent snap fastener kit that will give crafters a good jumping off point to decide if they want a more expensive tool or not. I found it useful for some cosplay pieces I've been working on, and I also like that it comes with a variety of sample buttons to play around with!

I'm reviewing "2 in 1 Snap Fastener Kit โ Ergonomic Press Pliers with Built-in Hole Punch, Ruler, Magnetic and Screw Dies, 68 Sets of Metal and Plastic Snaps for Fabric & Leathercraft and DIY Projects" which I received via the VINE program.I make bags and other small items out of leather and fabric and I like to use snaps that I know are going to be secure and stay secure. I've got that, "in the bag" with this kit. I did a small test with a piece of 2.2mm thick full grain leather. There is one die for the front snap piece and another die for the internal piece. With this thickness of leather, it's also VERY nice to have the hole punch to make the process seamless.Hole punch worked like a charm and the dies compressed the snap pieces like the leather wasn't even there.I have another set of press pliers without the hole punch and I'm never certain if I've applied enough force with those. With these, I feel it in the pliers and know that I'm getting the right pressure/compression to get the snap pieces to hold securely, the first time. I sometimes have to compress multiple times with the other pliers to be satisfied but not with these.Highly recommended!!
