I've used this of a few times does the job. But I made the mistake of ordering a quarter inch. I should have got a half inch. But it was too late to return it.

I bought this driver as I needed to screw 2 2x4 studs together for added support (support equivalent to a 4x4) using 3 inch exterior screws. Initially, I thought the driver was underpowered as some screws could not be driven in completely and I needed to put my body weight on it to get some done. I realized that the bits started to wear down. I then got some driver ready bits and it was a night and day difference in performance for the driver. I was able to screw the lumber together with ease with the new bits.Conclusion: buy the driver, throw away the bits that come with it (or maybe use them with a standard screw driver) and buy driver ready bits.
