I ordered these just in time and they were a trip saver. We live in Northern California about 100 miles from Heavenly and NorthStar and Kirkwood. The week before Christmas we took a week trip to Lake Tahoe area and we’re going over Highway 267 to get to Northstar early on a Saturday morning with lots of new snow coming down. Right near the top of 267 as we were going uphill, another car was coming down and wandered over towards our side, but I had to go a little bit to the right to avoid a collision. We were still on the road, but we’re just getting no traction with our four-wheel-drive. We had to stop and push back into the car wrong. Go down the hill to get another start at it Then I remember we had these magic chains that were easy to install.Only took just a few minutes to strap four of these on each of the front tires and OFF we went and it was like night and day difference. Easy to drive with them on easy to put on and off doesn’t take a lot of space and had amazing grip. Great price but the big sale is easy to put on and off just if you have the more modern wheels that have a little bit of an opening through the rims or if your car has hubcaps, you may have to take the hubcaps off to get through the openings, but either way they worked great

Thankfully I bought two sets for one vehicle to make sure I’d have enough. Some arrived broken (ratches were bent and un-useable or broken chains) and some broke after a short use. Speeds were kept within limits of the instructions and still had these breaking and coming off. The ones that stayed on did work as advertised.

I am so impressed with the durability of the chains, and the cleats are way bigger then I had expected.

Someone said they had chains and my first thought was (thinking the old style) not going to be able to get them on. Then I saw them and thought "these little things will never get me out". I will be the first to tell you, I WAS ABSOLUTELY WRONG. These little beauties worked like a charm and with just one on two tires.So fast two put them on and even faster getting them off.I highly recommend these amazing little gems.
