It's my new salad bowl. Perfect portion. Got warm but did not come close to burning me. Looks nice.No problem with washing and no indication of stains rubbing off bowl onto drying towel, which I have read has happened to some before.I refer to it as my "prison" bowl since it is metal. Makes for a great alms bowl.

The photos in this review are from my set of titanium camping bowls. In the second image are four bowls, from left to right the standard Snow Peak single wall, the Boundless Voyage 420mm double wall, the Boundless Voyage 500ml double wall, and the reviewed Snow Peak 600ml double wall.There are many titanium camping products on the market today, and most if not all will suit your needs perfectly. The lion’s share are manufactured in China, and you will see multiple brand names using the exact same design due to the lax copyright and intellectual property regulations in China. With Chinese goods you typically need to find the brand that seems to meet your needs and purchase from them almost exclusively as quality tends to drop off the further you get from the original creator.So is this Snow Peak 600ml bowl better for being manufactured in Japan, well actually yes. I own several double wall mugs and containers from Snow Peak, and compared to their closest competition, Boundless Voyage and Toaks, the Snow Peak items are made to much more stringent specifications.The 600ml is the largest double wall titanium camping bowl from any manufacturer. This bowl also happens to be only one gram heavier than its 500ml competitor from Boundless Voyage. From the picture at the top of my review, the bowls have the following weight in grams from left to right: Snow Peak Single - 60g; Boundless Voyage 420ml - 141g (153g with the included carry bag); Boundless Voyage 500ml - 109g (122g with the included carry bag); and the Snow Peak 600ml - 110g.The snow peak products use less titanium more efficiently due to the construction and welding. In fact the welding is so seamless you will initially question if this is double wall at all. It only takes a quick test of hot or cold liquid in the bowl to prove the double wall construction, keeping your hands safe from thermal extremes.When you buy titanium you do so for the weight savings and the near impossibility of corrosion. You get both these characteristics with all the titanium manufacturers, but Snow peak actually saves you weight and their design is both utilitarian and beautiful. Is it worth the extra $40 you will spend between this item and the competitor’s next largest size (500ml capacity)? The answer to that question is far too subjective to be captured in a review like this. It’s worth it to me knowing that what I am buying is high quality Japanese craftsmanship.The bowl is about the size of most cereal bowls, and it is easily stackable. The finish is more of a crystalline titanium than the standard brushed finish of most Snow Peak titanium wear, but very smooth to the touch with just enough grip to keep it slipping from your hands. The other bowls in my image from Boundless Voyage have a grittier surface texture, and are likely made from titanium powder vice being shaped from solid pieces. The bowl is very stable, with a wide base to prevent tipping over under normal use. This last comment goes for the Boundless Voyage bowls too, they are very stable.I realize price is always a factor, and it’s hard to tell anyone to purchase something when a similar item does the same job for half the price. If you are not worried about the weight of your bowls, it’s hard to justify going for the Snow Peak. For me, Snow Peak is a design, an aesthetic that speaks to quality and craftsmanship all too often missing from our world these days.**************EDIT****************Wanted to post an update since another review showed up the same day as mine. I didn’t order 6 of the bowls, but I did order 4, and none of them leave any type of grey streaks on the white dishcloth I am using. In fact no titanium bowl from any manufacturer I’ve used has this issue.You would get a grey streak of titanium dioxide if you used abrasive scrubbers or chemicals on your plate, which is something you should never do for any reason. Mild soap and a sponge or washcloth are all you need to clean titanium. This could also happen if the bowls were allowed to abrade against each other while in transit from the shipper, but it would be a temporary issue quickly removed by a simple wash. I tried six of these bowls, purchased either from an authorized retailer or Snow Peak directly, and all had the same issue: drying with a soft dish cloth leaves grey stains on the dish cloth. That can't be good. I've never had this issue with any of my other Snow Peak gear, which all happens to be made in Japan.Snow Peak really needs to bring production of this item to Japan to tighten up its suppliers and quality control.

見た目がなんだか犬のエサ皿みたいだけど、ご飯が大量に積めるのが良い。スノーピークのロゴが裏側だけじゃなく側面にもあってほしかった。

チタンで真空 ありがたいです。かなり使っています。ただ、底の出っ張りをもう少し付けて欲しいです。手が滑りそうで仕方がないです。宜しくお願いしたいです。

EPIのダブルチタンの器の使い勝手が良いので、同じ位の容量で別の商品を探していました。少々高価ですが、毎日使うので思い切って購入。持ちやすく安定性もあり軽量なので、高齢の母も使いやすそうでした。因みに、EPI550mlのダブルチタンボールとスタッキングできます。裏にスノーピークのプリントがありますが、せめて刻印だったら良かったのにと感じます。
