Works great for safety and aesthetics as a peg board cap. However, I've found myself reaching for these while working on unrelated projects. They are great as:End caps for exposed wood or metal dowelsSafety caps for spare metal tubing or chunky wiresStoppers for bottles, especially medical / cosmetic / scientific dispensersOf course, follow your best judgement and use only approved safety gear when it counts. For household use, I've found these handy little additions to my bits drawer. Measure for your project or container and match to the corresponding inner diameter. If you are between sizes, go a tiny bit smaller as long as it is still close.As for this particular brand they've held up well for me, very consistent quality control and priced fairly. The vinyl material has been non-reactive with the materials I've worked with so far.Just thought I'd leave these ideas for others and to maybe push some of you over the edge if you were considering them but the quantity was higher than you needed for pegboards alone.

Love the fit for the pegs, safer and looks neater. I put end caps on all the points of the peg, not just the part where items would hang. I ordered black, but wanted the purple but didn’t want to wait a month to get them.

Great product for the money. I like these rubber tips for the peg board hooks. Much safer with them. Also keeps things from sliding off.
