This item looked nice and appears to be of good quality. However, it arrived dented on the top corner, very difficult to keep in place once you adjust the height

I got this stand to use as a music note stand for my daughter, and it works really well for her height. It’s super sturdy, heavy enough to stay put, and feels like great quality. The only tricky part was the setup—there’s a hidden rod inside one of the main rods that I didn’t notice at first. I thought a piece was missing and spent over 40 minutes trying to figure it out. Turns out, there’s a label on the outer rod saying it has two parts—wish I saw that sooner! Once I figured it out, everything was easy. Honestly, we don’t even need the extension rod, so the height is just right. Great stand overall once you get past the confusing assembly.

Very easy to put together, less than five minutes out of the box. The base is weighty and holds the stand well without tilting or looseness. The adjustability is good, and it holds a variety of notes and sheet music without being too cumbersome. The only minor drawback is that the smaller universal tray can be challenging to snap into place—to me, it’s not really essential. Overall, we are quite satisfied with its value and ease of use.

This is a very sturdy podium stand. First of all, the base has weight to it, so you will not have to worry about it tipping over easily if bumped. The directions for assembly were very easy to follow, and the ability to adjust the height is a great feature. The stand is very secure as well when the screws are tightened for positioning both the height and the angle of the top, you can place a larger book on the podium and not worry that it is going to move or fall. An added bonus are the two clips to hold a book open if you are teaching or even is you're using this for a music stand. We often sit in a circle with a teacher for our church classes, and this stand will be perfect since it adjusts to a lower height to place in front of the teacher's chair. I really like the extra shelf where you could place another book you're referencing or a phone if you need it close by. You could easily put a drinking cup there as well, and it would be handy. I feel like the quality of the construction is very good on this product and would recommend it to anyone needing a podium or music stand.

When hosting a party and if someone need to make a speech, this is perfect to hold a laptop and cell phone. It's light weight and easy to move around from location to location.

The parts don't fit together properly. The two extension tubes from the base to the top of the stand don't screw together - one just rests on top of the other. The connection from the extension pole to the top stand is also not secure - it just rests on top of this metal pipe. I would have cost less than a nickel in combined labor and parts to have just made this properly.

Some good, some not so much. Overall, I like the stand. The description said it could be used as a music stand, and since I am a band director I thought it might be good as a conductor stand. For that use, it's just okay. It would probably be better when used as a podium for a speaker. The main problem with the stand to hold music is the height and lack of downward adjustment. This thing it tall! There is no way it could be used by a seated player, and that's probably not surprising. However, I find it difficult even when standing. I am 5'8", and I have to put it in the lowest possible position, and even then I would like to bring it lower. The accessory try will be useless, because it will not fit on the wider diameter of the lower tube. It has to be attached to the top tube, and I have that tube descended all the way into the bottom. The base is suitably heavy, so it is stable. The tray, if you can use it, is light weight and small. It would probably be fine to hold a glass of water or pencils. I am undecided on what to conclude about the value of the stand. I am going to say that the price is slightly higher than I would comfortably pay, but I think that may be more a function of my experience that it doesn't fit my needs well, and not so much attributable to the design and quality of the materials used. I give a tentative recommendation. It's good for tall people or those who prefer the text up high.
