On the 5th use, the yellow rubber seal blew out. Made a large bang, scared the crap out of me. I reseated the seal and it blew out again.

It seemed to work okay until the yellow internal gasket disintegrated. I'm trying to get used to refilling bottles instead of being connected directly to the large 20# tank, which suddenly stopped working with a direct adapter. I thought I'd try this approach instead, but it's way less convenient. It's hard to curse NTSUMI, the product is okay. If the yellow gasket is going to blow out, then it's not worth the trouble.

The NTSUMI Soda Refill Adapter worked perfectly for my pink sodastream CO2 bottles. I was on the fence becasue of the cost of the CO2 bottle. I managed to find a recertified CO2 place near me and picked up a 20 pound canister reasonably. I came home and was able to fill my 3 pink bottles in minutes!Pretty straight forward. Buy a canister. Attach this adapter. Refill your sodastream CO2. The gauge makes it easy to see when its equalized. I didnt have any leaks or issues at all. Couldnt be easier.Heres the deal - about $16 per refill from Sodastream. 20# CO2 is about $40 in my area. You get about 20 refills from one 20 pounder. I personally use about 1 per month, so $40 lasts me a year plus. Initially there is the outlay for the tank, but in my case it pays for iteself in 10 refills.Some tips:1. Put your empty in the freezer overnight before refilling. You are filling liquid co2, not gas. When its cold it doesnt expand as soon as it hits the empty.2. You need a siphon tube in your large CO2 bottle. If you dont, you will need to flip the canister. Remember, you are filling the liquid, not the gas. The liquid converts to gas at room temp.3. Fill slowly.This is a great product if you dont mind doing things yourself. The savings is pretty large if you use your sodastream a lot. I debated a lot but if you use your sodastreama fair bit and will use 10+ cans, its worth it. I had a sodastream before and it stopped being used becasue refills were a hassle. This is so muc easier. Highly recommend.
