The bullets do not function well and get lodged in the gun.

My son enjoyed this. He like that it was realistic. We didn't like that it was realistic when he was shooting at his brother's. That would be the only downside.

Got this for my spouse to practice trigger pull. This is rated for kids the reason it gets a 3 star review is as follows.1. If you fill the magazine full it jams up and miss feeds really bad.2. The spring when charging the slide is very tough and there isn't much grip available on the slide. Causing slipping or even pincing skin ouch.3. The projectiles are great but super small they easily get lost. But other then that it's fun just needs some adjustments to make it perfect.

It’s neat look wise but for play features not to good. You gotta use a a tiny bit of strength to to pull the barrel back. Sometimes the shells don’t eject.

Let's be real here that if you're expecting this to be on par with a Nerf gun, then you're kind of a ding dong. The foam bullets are tiny, as referenced in my picture alongside the Twisted Tea can, the only real safety function is trigger discipline, the overall build is super lightweight, the range is maybe 10-15ft indoors. However, I can't hate on the fact that the shell casings do eject when you cycle the next round. Some random person is going to find the inevitably lost darts and casings and have no idea what they're looking at. But, for being a $7 toy... it has its fun factor. Is it stupid and a waste of money? Oh, absolutely. Is it worth it to buy it for funsies? Definitely.Recommended use would be an intro to gun safety basics if you don't feel like spending the money on an airsoft gun and aren't looking for realism in function.Might upgrade this thing, if possible. Because why not? You're here reading a review on this dumb toy, too, aren't you?
