These slides replace slides purchased from a big-box-store. These look and feel better made. They slide more smoothly, and close more gently. Given that these are less expensive than the big-box-store slides, I'd say they are great value. The next time I need drawer slides, these are the ones I'll turn to.

I have a small space in our tiny cabin, in between the mini fridge and end of the cabinet. I made a long skinny shelf on casters but it’s just not stable on its own. I installed these pull tracks on the left side (top and bottom), attached to the side of the cabinet, now, I can pull the shelf all the way out (it extends the depth of the space) without fear of it tipping over. Great product, works perfectly, very smooth and is very sturdy.

As I'm building out my workshop & garage, I've wanted to add some drawers in a few places. These rails are pretty easy to add where I need them. They work smoothly and close smoothly. They hold up even on the drawers that I probably overload with heavy tools.

These work just like any other expensive side-mount drawer slide that I've used in the past. Your drawers must be square and sized roughly 1-1/32" under the cabinet opening for best operation, but this is no different than much more expensive side mount slides. You have less than 1/32" to 1/16" of play in the width of the drawer before you'll have considerable issues with the slide operation.I've used bottom mount slides and other side mount slides that are smoother to operate, but these work just fine for my workbench drawers and I think they are great value for the money when you compare to similar options from the Big Box stores for roughly $20 a piece.

Easy to install, just follow the directions. Excellent self / soft closing drawer for the price.

I am building a dream closet for my wife. It includes 16 pull-out drawers. Since I've been at it for over a year now, I figured why not opt for slow-close ball-bearing drawer slides? They make for a nice upgrade and add that extra touch of luxury. I actually had to order two kits of these slides to have enough for my needs. Every slide pairing worked perfectly with no issues. All of the needed screws were included. I did run into 3-4 screws that had poorly cast heads that were unusable. In all cases, you will have more than enough screws to overcome this minor issue. After a few weeks, everything is still working as expected. I love these and couldn't be more happy with the end result of my new installation. Now that I have given my thoughts on these slides I want to take some time to follow up with some notes to pay attention to when planning for this type of slide.1) Know the length of screw need for your cabinet as well as your drawer. In my design the drawers were made of 1/2" plywood. Given the included screws are over 1/2" in length, I had to plan for and buy shorter screws to attach the rails to my drawers without popping through to the inside. Not a big deal, but measure your stuff and know your screw lengths.2) Each drawer slide is almost exactly 1/2" wide, meaning that you need 1" of clearance to install these slides between your cabinet and drawer. If you are building a cabinet and drawer from scratch, give yourself 1/16" - 1/8" extra gap. This will pay dividends later because you absolutely do not want your slides to be squeezed too tight. If they are too tight there will be too much friction to overcome and the drawers will bind and the slow-close operation will be hampered or completely inoperable.3) Building off the previous note, before installing your slides look at the cabinet side of the slide, which is the larger part. It will have a few mounting tabs that you can see can be bent out. Do that! Bent those tabs out about 3/16" of an inch. When you install the rails tighten the rails but allow then to sit out away from the cabinet a little bit. This way when you install the drawer with the rails they will be tight. Working the drawer in and out a few times will bend and push those tabs in as far as needed. This will help you set the drawer so that you are not fighting slight cabinet or drawer variations because these types of slides rely on precision.4) Consider the KREG or Rockler drawer slide mounting jig. I bought it to help with the installation. it worked pretty well, but it ended up driving me to make my own jig. My closet design made using the KREG jig a bit tight and I was able to make a jig that was easier to move to the various installation locations. At any rate, you will want to be able to attach the rails to the cabinet first and then be able to set your drawer into place while you drill and attach the rails on the drawer side. This will work much better than trying to measure and mark each drawer individually.

These 12-inch soft-close drawer slides are like the Cadillac of drawer hardware—if your Cadillac occasionally demanded a few expletives during assembly. Made from hefty cold-rolled steel with a 100-pound load capacity, these slides mean business, promising smoother, quieter closes and making that kitchen-slam symphony a thing of the past. Finally, you can bump a drawer shut and casually stroll away like you’re in a slow-motion movie scene. But let’s be clear: these aren’t your "plug-and-play" drawer slides. Installation is straightforward, but if you’re anything less than zen, it’s easy to end up wrestling with the hardware. The soft-close spring feature sometimes needs a reset, meaning you might need to pull out the drawer, unload the contents, and practice patience. And while they include screws, avoid using the tapered ones if you want any hope of making fine adjustments.Once installed, though, these slides are a game changer. The full-extension feature is great for finally reclaiming the mystery items hiding at the back of your drawers. They do arrive a bit stiff, but they loosen up with use, becoming the quiet, smooth operators they were meant to be.So, if you’re ready for some DIY dedication, these slides will reward you with a sleek, durable upgrade. Just skip the brute force—you don’t want to find yourself in a showdown with flying ball bearings.
