Acceptable, but it should be wider to fit everything inside. It's about the same as most cups that come with athletic supporters, but maybe not quite as rigid or protective. It may fit some better than others as everyone is different, but I thought it was a bit too narrow to be comfortable for very long. It's probably best paired with an athletic supporter that has a pocket to prevent it from falling out.

This underwear cup is almost sturdy enough to be an athletic cup, but it's a little too "graphic" to wear in tight fitting baseball pants. It's also too bulgy to wear under swim shorts to counter the effects of shrinkage. I'm not sure what it's intended use is for.
