Pretty easy to assemble did it less than 5 hours and I am a female. I feel like you need two people for certain parts! The wood is a little cheap but I just needed something to get me through! Not a bad bed though! It does the job.

First and foremost, the final product is beautiful. However, this took some serious patience and time. Let's go over the issues. 1. The screws provided for the slats are way, way too short. They pop up after being inserted. I had to use my own drywall screws that were 1/2" longer. 2. The crown on top were missing two holes to put the pieces together. I had to drill two holes in one piece to match the other three pieces. 3. When screwing the crown together, as soon as the screw goes into the holes, the wood splits. All four pieces, that is. 4. I had to take a piece to home depot to paint match. There were heavy scratches right out of the box on two legs. 5. You will need two Allen keys and not one. One is provided. 6. You must have a drill to connect the slats. The slats are predrilled but not the part on the bed frame 7. The slats call for 5.5" spacing but that isn't possible with all of them. If you try that, you will be trying to insert screws through wood that has a nut and bolt directly below. 8. The crown attachment section wasn't predrilled also. I had to make a hole for the screw. See attached pictures and use common sense. Have these tools in the pictures ready. Yours may be perfect but be warned and be handy.
