Immediately after I received the product, I plug it into my ECOFLOW Delta Pro solar generator 3.6 KW battery and into my Black and Decker 17000 BTU portable air conditioner. It works nicely, My Air conditioner works now. I am not afraid of summer anymore in Northern California and hopefully I can save some money from using electricity. They do send me a special plug. I do not what it is for. But I guess it is probably a gound device as I read from an Intenet video. So I plugged it into one of my Solar generator 120V AC output. It did not hurt. I do not whether should I not use this plug, so I can save one of my AC 120V outlet for other purpose. The cost is kind of expensive. It is kind of hurting me. I wish it can be cheaper. Sadly, everything is so expensive now.

Did not make a difference trying to start RV 10500 BTU AC. No other appliance was on electric, generator was Craftsman 2500i. Started with getting the fan running and as soon as you turned the AC on the generator went into overload mode and AC turned off.Also could not get the Bluetooth to link up. Phone would find it, app would ask for password and things locked up at that point.Currently have it hooked up to a small window unit. I tried it with and without this in the circuit. Could not tell any difference.

The ActiveStart work excellently and I used this product on several outings - however the activestart malfunctioned. Although, it took me a week to report my issue, I emailed Active- Control LLC with pictures and an explanation- without hesitation and with 30 minutes I received an email that they are sending me a replacement. Any company that backs it’s product with that kind of responsiveness is GOLD!!! Great Work and I am a satisfied costumer.

When it comes to using this product on a 30 or a 15 amp house outlet, it works perfectly. When I tried to use my generator I could not get my RV AC to start call tech-support and they did a wonderful job working with me. Ultimately we were able to determine the reason I was not able to start the AC. The energy output from my generator was not as clean as it needed to be, so the surge protector safety features were kicking in and cutting power to the camper. Tech-support help me realize this product is better suited if your RV is going to be plugged in to shore, power, the majority of the time and occasionally ran on a generator if your goal is to run more on a generator and you want to be able to run as small as possible of a generator and still be able to use your ac the 16 amp hard wired model is the better choicesThank you tech support you did incredible job.

I purchased this before camping season. When I went to use it with my generator to start my 15k air conditioner, my generator immediately shut itself down. When I went on to request a refund, it was refused because I was past the allotted time. I checked the description and it changed to requiring 2500 watts from when I purchased it. If you buy this make sure it meets your needs immediately when it arrives. It will not start two air conditioners on 30 amps and it will not start a 15k on 2000 watts.
