This solar fan unit arrived and just three days and was in perfect condition. The solar panels are substantial and do a great job of both charging the battery and operating the fan simultaneously. The fan unit itself fits my greenhouse perfectly and really helps with ventilation in those hot summer days. Mounting was relatively easy, and the air moved by the fans is rather considerable, considering the small size of the greenhouse. We haven’t had too many cloudy days in a row to see if the fans would lack a charge, but really, the fans are almost entirely necessary during hot sunny days. I’m very happy with the solar fan set, and believe the materials provided were of higher quality than most I have seen elsewhere. I do certainly recommend the solar fan set, and will update my review if I experience any issues during continued operation.

This review is for a Fanspex 50W Solar Panel 2 Fan Kit with 66.6 Wh Battery Backup.I was very pleased with the package as it was delivered. However, it would have been better with ONE 50w panel, rather than two 25w PV panels.I put each panel out on a cloudless March West Texas day, at 67*F. They were oriented approx. 30* off vertical to get the best irradiance. One 25w panel output 20w which was excellent, the other panel put out 18w, as tested with an Elejoy EY800W PV multitester. This was surprisingly good, since I was expecting something in the mid-teens.The battery says it will power the two fans for approx 5 hrs. when fully charged. I got about 4.25 hrs. You might want to consider a larger battery for longer ventilation. There is no indicator for battery charge status, but it would not be hard to wire a small battery state monitor into the system. The two fans are relatively quiet, and are either ON or OFF. I have not tried to put a speed controller or switch on the fans yet. They move a surprisingly large amount of air for their size.I admit that this is NOT for a chicken coop, but for a workshed that gets pretty warm when the sun shines. I already have one FANSPEX solar dual fan assembly aimed toward the interior roof. This unit was installed near the floor, with a 1/8in hardware cloth cover on it to suck in cooler ground level air in the mornings. It works very well for that. (The hardware cloth is to prevent unwanted crawling visitors.)This is a great package for multiple uses, and if you have a need for a small ventilation system for a small space, I’d recommend this.

The Solar 2 Fan Kit with 66.6 Wh Battery Backup and 50W Solar Panel offers a robust, eco-conscious ventilation solution for chicken coops, greenhouses, and sheds. Featuring two 25W solar panels, it drives dual weatherproof fans that deliver up to 360 CFM of airflow at 3500 RPM, keeping spaces well-ventilated and comfortable. The 66.6 Wh rechargeable battery stores energy efficiently, providing consistent operation during nighttime or cloudy conditions—a major plus for reliability. With an IP67 rating, the kit endures harsh weather, from rain to snow, and functions in temperatures ranging from -13°F to 140°F. Installation is simple with a 26.2-foot cord and mounting hardware, though some users might need extra tools for complex setups. Fan performance peaks in direct sunlight, tapering off in low light, but the battery ensures steady airflow. This kit blends power, durability, and versatility, making it an outstanding choice for anyone seeking a solar-powered, off-grid ventilation system for small to medium outdoor structures.

Good size power supply. Both fans are mounted on a piece of plexiglass. Connectors are water resistant. The only thing missing from this setup is a thermometer switch. The Fanspex "Solar 2 Fan Kit with 66.6 Wh Battery Backup, 50W Solar Panel Powered Rechargeable"

We have a Costco plastic shed, which is nice, but during summer, sun will heat it up like crazy. In a way that we can't leave any liquid, battery, chemical, etc inside,This fan 2 fans solar kit is perfect. Easy to install, you dont need to run cables from anywhere. On top of that, since it has a battery "buffer" you can run it even if there is no sun at that moment. My shed has a lot of sun (that causes the issue with heat too..) I ran it around 2 hours without sun, and kept running. And just a couple of hours next day the battery will topped of.I did added insulation around the battery, since winter is hard here and Lithium batteries shouldn't be charger bellow 32F.

Nice little dual fan, dual solar panel exhaust system. The unit even has a battery pack that you can charge up via the solar connection and it will run the fan after the sun sets. The fans aren't super powerful, but they move the air. The solar panels are good quality and I laid them out in my shop when I first unpacked it. Hooked the cords to the battery pack and then hooked the battery pack to the fans. Simple process and had everything ready in a couple minutes. I have a few clear panels on my barn roof for light to come into the building and it was enough to start the unit charging. The battery pack has and indicator and it was about 75 % charged on arrival. The cord from the battery pack to the fans has a switch on it and the battery pack is also switched so you can turn everything off in both places. I was expecting the unit to push air, but being an exhaust fan it pulls it through the two fans and out the side with the finished surface. Hope that makes sense.Overall, nice build quality on the panels, battery pack and the fans. The wires are light weight but appear sufficient. Does not blast air, but moves it and would keep the air circulating in a dog house, chicken coop or small building as advertised.I like it and will get a lot of use out of it I believe. Neat little rig if you have an outbuilding that doesn't have electricity but needs an exhaust fan.
