Haven’t tried yet but paid for new and got something that has clearly been used and returned, had random gloves and various zip ties and plastic bags in it….will update when I can actually set it up.

Review for: "Solar Ceiling Fan Kit 50CM, 20000mAh Portable Canopy Fan with 30W Solar Powered Rechargeable Ceiling Fan with Light and Remote Control, Outdoor Fan for Camping,Gazebo,Patio"Brand: GliztechColour Name: WhiteSize: 50CMFirst look: The Solar Ceiling Fan came in a large box (46.8 cm x 37.7 cm x 16.5 cm) and weighing about 8.2 lbs (3.7 kg). In the box was the fan motor, 5 fan blades, User manual, hooks, white gloves, power cord, solar panel (35 cm x 45 cm), 22 tie wraps (19.5 cm long), and remote. The remote has CR2025 batteries in it already, just pull out the protective tab. I thought I was missing all the hardware but then found the 2 expansion screws hidden in the bubble-wrap, and the bracket is already attached to the solar panel so it doesn't need to be put together.Operation & testing: The fan blades just snap into the fan motor piece with the textured side facing up. The fan and light buttons have to be long-pressed for the first use. The fan has a rechargeable non-detachable lithium battery with a capacity of 20,000 mAh and already had a charge out of the box. Because of the specialized plug (not USB-C), it can only be charged with the solar panel provided. The remote has power on/off (which will remember the last setting), light on: 3 colour temperatures then off, and fan speed 1-2-3-4 then off. It will beep to indicate changes, or press the mute button to shut off the beeping. There are 4 small white indicator lights to show which fan speed you are on (when changing it) and also the remaining battery charge.Opinion: I had ordered a solar fan before but it didn't have a battery in it so it needed to be in the sun the whole time it was in use. I am happy with this one as it comes with a 20,000 mAh battery so it can be used it on overcast days as well. The only thing I would change would be to have a USB-C charging port as well so it can be charged either way. The fan is easy to hang up and works well. I look forward to keeping cool this summer with it at the cottage.

I thought this was such a cool idea and thought of a number of applications for it so I picked one up, and I'll definitely be ordering a few more! Setup was really easy, the solar panel seems to charge it more quickly than the fan and light drains the energy so it should maintain a charge at least during the daylight hours, and both the light and fan have a good amount of power. I installed this one on my second storey covered patio to help move some air in the hot summer months as well as keeping some bugs away when we're eating out there. I also plan to buy a second one of these to take to horse shows to hang in my tack stall so I can have some light and some cool air flow during those hot summer afternoons, especially since it doesn't require any electrical plug-ins!

We have a gazebo at the back of our yard that can get very hot during the summer. The problem is there is very little air circulation inside the gazebo. There are also no power outlets close to the gazebo.I saw this solar-powered fan and light that seemed to be a perfect addition to our gazebo. The fan arrived well-packaged. There is some very minor assembly that involves putting the blades on the fan. There is a user manual, a solar panel, a hanging hook, mounting hardware, and a remote included. This is very easy to install. You use the included cable with hooks to hang the fan from the ceiling of the gazebo. You can then mount the solar panel wherever it will get the most light. The solar panel plugs into the fan.You can use the fan alone, the light, or both together and get 5 to 15 hours of use on a single charge. There are 4 fan speeds that can be selected with the remote as well as 3 light colors from warm white, to natural, to cool white. You can also adjust the light brightness from 10 to 100%.The remote also as 2,3 and 5 hour timer buttons so you can turn on the fan for a set time. It will also work from a distance of 25 meters and you do not need to point it at the fan for it to work. The solar panel works very well and I was able to get a complete charge even on overcast days. My yard also has a lot of trees. This fan is the perfect size for a gazebo. It gives nice air circulation and the light works well.It is perfect for keeping your gazebo cooler on the hot days.I am very happy with this fan. It is super easy to install and works perfectly in keeping the inside of your gazebo cool. This is ideal when you do not have easy access to a power supply.I do recommend it.

I love this fan. It's perfect for my back porch that I recently screened in.The solar panel blew my mind as well!!! If it's huge and high quality I was shocked. It lasts forever l, but surprised, if had choices for white light or ambient and you get a great air circulation with this fan. It's sturdy but not overly bulky and the fact it's solar and portable makes it super convenient.

Really liking this little solar fan/light combo. We got this for our son's "club house". He's 13 now and wanting to camp out in there...so this will be a welcomed addition to the "house". It works well, seems to charge quickly (about 5 or 6 hours), and will run all night if he needs it, at least on fan mode for sure. The light is adjustable so that's nice too. All in all, for our purpose anyway, this is a big-time win! It's not heavy and is easy to install. Seems to have a good build quality and overall, a great value for the money (especially when you consider it'll never cost you any electricity!).

I recently picked up the Gliztech 30W High Efficiency Solar Ceiling Fan, and honestly, it’s been a great addition to my outdoor setup. First off, the solar panel charges surprisingly fast—about 6 hours in direct sun—and you get a ton of runtime from it. I’ve used it overnight a couple times and it held up just fine. The built-in 20,000mAh battery is no joke. The fan itself is pretty quiet but powerful. It has four speed settings that actually make a difference depending on how hot it is outside. I also really like that both the fan and light can run separately—super useful when you're camping or chilling in the backyard. The light is another plus. You can adjust both the brightness and color temperature (from warm to cool white), which makes it great for setting the mood or just lighting up a space properly. The remote control works well too—even through walls—which was a nice surprise.Setup was simple and flexible. You can hang it, mount it, or just let it stand somewhere. The detachable fan blades make it easy to pack up and move if needed. Plus, the emergency power via Type-C is a thoughtful touch.Overall, it’s a solid, eco-friendly fan and light combo for outdoors. If you’re into camping, have a gazebo, or just need a reliable, solar-powered fan, this is definitely worth considering.

~Solar light is just right~This light looks great under my gazebo, have the solar part in the back to get all the sun it can.Seems to work great with good light plus I love the fact it comes with a remote so I can come & go turning on the light if I want or off if going inside. This seems to be very sturdy & well made. Will last a long time but will take it inside during the winter months.

I was expecting the solar panel to be big but this is a pretty good size (18in x 14in). Assembly was straight forward and the instructions were clear. I was able to put it together in about 10 minutes after going over the instructions. The motor is heavy which to me translates to sturdy with good size battery for storage. The fan blades are plastic and a little on the thin side but do seem to move the air once turned on. The cord connecting the fan to the solar panel is a good long length, giving you plenty of options for placement to power it, in addition to strong cords and hooks for hanging. There is also a remote that is small but turns on the fan or the light from a considerable distance away. It allows you to operate all functions on the fan with ease. The light is bright without being blinding and has different levels which is a nice feature. I haven’t tried the fan for an extended period of time so I can’t speak to battery life but the weight of the motor and size of the solar panel lead me to believe it is better than average. Odd that the package included a pair of gloves and zip ties, which I didn’t need. Despite the small shortcomings, all in all it is a very functional fan/light for an outdoor location with a large enough solar panel to power it.

This unit came fully charged and with all parts to assemble. There are switches on the fan motor unit as well as a remote. Everything worked right out of the box. I ordered this ceiling fan to use in my tent during the hot summer craft market season. It is compact and works well.
