Review of ROVOCLO Solar Shed Light, Solar Hanging Pendant Lights with Remote Control Outdoor Indoor for Chicken Coops Sheds BarnsInstallation was mostly easy except for one thing: my shed is made of plastic with very thin walls. So I mounted the solar panel on a thicker board and hung that from a high wall vent (see photo.) The solar panel is nicely constructed with an aluminum frame and mounting bracket. The panel power cable is long and includes a water resistant connector that I routed through the shed vent and connected inside to the lamp. The light would not power on until I flipped on the power switch (see detail photo). The included remote controls brightness and color intensity (soft white and bright white, 4000K - 6000K). My photo with the bikes shows the light set to ‘bright white’. The remote also has timer settings for 2hr, 4hr, 6hr. Note: the remote requires two AAA batteries, not included.Pros:* easy install* great build quality — everything feels well constructed and durable* bright!* good remoteCons:* batteries (for clicker) not includedEarns 5 stars because it’s a great quality solar light that turned out to be even better than expected.

Super easy set up, works great, has several light options. Perfect for when I'm need to check on the coop at night it's been very reliable, stay charged. This is a very good affordable option for coop, shed, goat barn ect.

I need a poultry light that works on a solar timer, this light is beautiful and bright, it's easy to control with a remote control, I don't turn on the lights at night anymore, I use this light to work in the coop.

This light works well in a coop without power, the fixtures can be mounted in covered areas where their performance obviously depends on the sunlight, and placed on a covered porch, they work great in the event of a power outage.

Love the idea that I can put a light in areas or buildings across my pasture that don't have any running electricity in them. I would NOT use them in a chicken coop...especially when you want to use the motion detection, as that light will never shut off then. Cord seems to be long enough to attach the panel to the light so you can install the panel in the best possible position to catch the most sun. Manual/instructions are seriously lacking, but it is easy enough to figure out without them though.

This light was relatively easy to install. It works well and functions as expected. To turn the light on you can press the light itself or use the remote that it comes with. The remote takes AAA’s and allows you to change the color and brightness of the light. We have this set up in our chicken coop that does not have power running to it so the solar panel is a must. And it has been working great, even on cloudy days; which in Michigan is most days. The range on the remote is very limited and only works while we are inside the coop but that’s not a big deal.

I got this light to use in my potting shed that doesn't have electricity. The solar panel is mounted on the side of the shed, and the wire is long enough to run through the roof vent and to the light in the middle of the shed. The light is very bright and lights up the whole shed easily and the remote is perfect so you don't have to try and turn it on at the source. The only reason I docked a star is because these instructions are absolute garbage. Its not hard to figure out, but I thought mine was broken because I didn't realize when they said to press the "On" button, they meant on the light itself and not just the one on the remote. The on button is very small, unlabeled and looks like one of the LED lights, and not an actual button.
