Unfortunately after one month of short usage, they got waterlogged and stopped working. I unscrewed the back on one where the battery is so I could drain the water from it and the back would not come off. Very disappointed! I thought these were waterproof, but they’re not. I was going to order more, but it’s a hard no for me now!

I first bought 4 of these to check them out, and then bought 8 more after testing them. They charge up even on partly cloudy days and last for hours after dark. They put out enough light to see the ground around them, but don't project light upward to ruin your night vision. The option to attach them with stakes, screws or adhesive makes them suitable for any location or surface.

Honest opinions only, right? Well, honestly, I didn't think the light would be bright enough to really see from a distance. But honestly, it lights up the prettiest shade of blue that you can see from a good distance away. I use them to illuminate the edges of my driveway because there is no light on my curving, downhill driveway. It's not too long, but the curve and going uphill makes it very difficult to back up in the early mornings. These driveway/pathway lights can be seen EASILY from 50 feet and more. And it makes a very beautiful addition to my driveway. I honestly didn't think the solar powered lights would last from sun-down to sun-up. Wrong again. They were just as bright at 5:00 am as they were at 8:00 pm. No difference whatsoever. One downside (and quite frankly, I'm still not sure it IS a downside) is the plastic shell the lights are housed in. It just doesn't seem like it could take a car rolling over it. However, the description states that it is very sturdy, but I don't want to test it (on purpose) to find out at this time. The last downside is that to get it to stick to the driveway, you have to drill holes in your concrete and insert the mounting screws. It does come with stakes that can be driven into the ground, but I don't want the hassle of pulling them up from the ground every single time the lawn gets mowed. Other than those two things, which currently present no problem (I used a double-sided sticky foam square and so far, so good), these products are great. Love the blue color and love the longevity of battery life. Really good driveway/pathway lights.
