Could be better for my purposes but it does everything it claims so I'll give it five stars. If my front porch had longer steps, I think I would appreciate these more. They don't cast much light to the side, but they do cast a good amount forward. I'm trying to find a light that will illuminate the entire step and not just a patch like these. The bubbles aren't just for looks. They do a decent job at diffusing the light. Not a whole lot, but it's better than staring at these bright LEDs.With how inexpensive these are, I won't feel bad about modifying the clear plastic. If I can sand the clear part into a triangular shape, slap a mirror on one side, and get it to shine down the length of the step instead of across it, this might be exactly what I wanted.

I ordered these Solar Deck Lights to help light our extremely dark front porch. I love that the lights are smaller than I expected, but still give off a nice glow to help me navigate the staircase. They come with both screws and mounting tape, so I used the tape in case I wanted to adjust their positions. They are super easy to install and look great on the porch railing. Initially they were quite bright, but I've noticed them looking more dim, and sometimes they flash instead of staying completely on. This may be due to the limited sun exposure of our porch, or they may need new batteries. I love solar lights, but have found that the pre- installed batteries often need to be replaced for them to work well. I plan to wait a bit longer before trying me batteries to see if the increased sun in spring solves the problem of the lights being dim.Overall I'm still super happy with these lights. They cast enough light to make our staircase safer, but don't put off too much light pollution.

These Solar Deck Lights look modern and sleek, however, I am concerned about a few things. First off, you must attach them to whatever you are lighting (i.e., your deck, steps, railings, stone walls, etc.) with screws. When I think about it, it makes sense. However, we are building curved retaining walls around our back patio and the thought of drilling into the top of the walls makes me nervous. What if the lights stop working and I need a replacement? These lights will get rained and snowed on in my area through the seasons. Will this same item be available for replacement in the future if they stop working? If not and I have to remove the lights and now I will have holes drilled into my stones that will need to be filled. Therefore, I am still debating whether or not I want to install these permanently. I have tried one of the lights without permanently attaching it and the light had a faint glow after sundown. This glow was what I expected; I did not expect them to take the place of an overhead bright lamp. That said, the jury is still out on these lights. If you do not care about having small holes in the surface you are lighting, I do think that these lights provide a pretty glow and look very nice for the purchase price. My advice would be to order an extra set of lights to have on hand for replacements, just in case the manufacturer no longer carries them.

I wanted these for my roadside flower stand. They’re easy to install. You do have to assemble them but pretty basic just adding the plastic on the light. It’s also bright! I like that it’s not super warm tone. So far it’s holding up & I like that it’s super noticeable too.

For its price, this provides good value... Solid construction with no problems withstanding the absolute downpour this past month, and it lasted surprisingly long into the night given the lack of sunshine.BUT you should also know that the real world brightness is noticeably dimmer than the vendor-provided pictures, to the extent that one wonders whether digital manipulation of the photos when it comes to brightness, contrast, saturation, and exposure can become a topic for discussion.

These solar lights look amazing on our wooden fence. We were taken back to how the warm white lighting added rich beauty to our dark country area. Super easy to install and highly recommend.

I got these to help illuminate our backyard and they work well. I opted to use the 3m adhesive so I could remove them if I wanted to easily. You put them together and then just place them on your fence. I love that you don't have to worry about battery since they are solar. The light is strong, but not going to bother your neighbors. I would recommend this set.
