Thought maybe this time it would be different, but after having it in the bird bath for less than a week, it started making a loud grinding noise - - even out of water. Not sure why it would turn on out of water instead of sensing there wasn't any. Guess I need to go electric.

Great little fountain. Only works in direct sunlight. Any shade makes it stop. Still good for the price.

Great little fountain for the price. Make sure to remove the sticker and to place in direct sunlight, or it will start sputtering.

I got it because of the "floaters" .. better than straws. But the motor falls off. It's attached by suction cups... And they don't hold
