Great solar lantern. It was very easy to assemble. I followed the directions but didn’t really need them. It’s very simple to put together. The lantern is lightweight so you can easily move it around. I weighted mine down with lots of heavy rocks. The lantern has a bulb inside and the top is glass so you don’t want to chance it tipping over. I will suggest bringing it into the garage or shed if you have a storm. It’s made from that indestructible plastic so I feel it’ll last a good long time. I added a fern to the planter over the rocks and I think it looks great. It’s not bright enough to light up your yard but it’s good mood lighting by my pool. The directions say to let it charge in the sun for 8-12 hours but mine lit up right away. I may pick up another one for symmetry. Highly recommend.

At first I was going to put in the backyard inside the gate. But since I have a fire pit out there, I decided to put it on my deck since I don’t have a BBQ grill. I can have light in a dark corner (I get full sun all day) and can put some flowers back there without having to turn on the electric porch light. I love the lounge look as an outdoor room rather than cluttered with tables and umbrellas. Perfect ambiance! Super easy to pop together and since I back to woods and no street light, it’s the right amount of glow without glaring porch light. Perfect height also to attach solar string lights to small tree to tie everything together. Believe it or not solar light really does work just as well if not better than regular electrical power- and it pays for itself by not making a bill! Soft, romantic… solar perfection!

Very easy to put together, The lamp itself is nice and pretty and the quality is great. I do wish the pole and base were made out of something more sturdy to match the quality of the lamp. The pole and base are plastic.

Easy to put together even for the elderly such as myself and it has bright light and looks nice. I plan to fill it with artificial flowers. Looks like real wrought iron from a distance. Looks really good around my pool. I highly recommend especially for the price because I've seen the shorter versions that are just a little less in price so consider these are the tall ones it's a good value for you money. I will weigh them down of course because they're so lightweight so that the wind don't blow them away.

Solar Lamp Post Light with PlanterThis comes with everything you need to put it together (including the light bulb), except a Phillips-head screw driver. Everything was carefully wrapped and secured in the box. This is not plastic, it's sturdy metal that I believe has a powder coating on it.It took about 10 minutes to put it together. All the pieces are cut nicely, without any tags. While the instructions were small, it did come with illustrations, and those were easy to follow. This lamp post planter is about 64" tall and the base is about 12" x 11". Plenty of room to plant flowers, vine, or even use fake foliage. The top where the light bulb goes and the roof takes a moment to twist on, you just need to put the tabs where they're supposed to go and a simple twist, it's together.You definitely have to put something to weight it down, when it's all put together it is top heavy. It fell once, nothing broke. To me that means it will last though a storm or the squirrels we have around the yard.I love that this has no wires. That means I can put it anywhere. Driveway, middle of yard or in the trees. I chose out back deck for now.It looks very nice when it's done. I'll be getting some Mums to plant around the base.

Put this lamp together for my wife because she loves flowers. No flowers have made it in there yet but she is very happy with it. Assembly was easy and it looks good. One of the things that I like is that the rechargeable battery that it comes with is accessible so if the battery ever fails you can replace it. Also, it uses regular light bulbs so you can replace those too when/if they die or you want a different kelvin.
