I saw one of these decorative solar lanterns for the first time when I was at an Air B&B that had a nice deck with comfortable patio furniture and a hammock. The owner had one of these hanging from the end of the hammock and it looked so cool at night— The way it reflected the cut out design all around it. I’m not really in to garden decor like gazing balls, but I really liked this and so I’ve gotten several over the last year or so.My only complaint with this one is that it arrived with a very slight dent in the side. This doesn’t bother me as it will go outside and this will not be at all noticeable and it will probably endure some wear and tear from the elements. But it would bother me if I had ordered this as a gift.

Really cute solar lantern! It has a nice warm "candlelight" glow and the LED is reasonably bright. I like the copper/bronze of the lantern itself as well. It is smaller than I was expecting, but the measurements in the description are accurate so get your ruler out and see exactly how big it is so you're not surprised too. It seems a bit pricey for the size in my opinion, but does seem well made. It throws a really cool pattern, even out of the bottom, but you do have to have it really close to a flat surface/tabletop/step/wall - my pictures are with the lantern sitting directly on the floor and then less than 6" from the floor. The further away you get from the surface the more spread out and blurry the image gets. It would be perfect and really lovely for tabletop decoration, especially if you got a hook like they show in the photos (the lantern does NOT come with a hook) but it has a bail so you can hang it from a shepherds hook, or tabletop hook or tree branch, etc.

Simply beautiful! Great quality metal and the light illuminates brightly through the holes sending the light all around the metal light. Sturdy handle on the item.

This style of lantern is very cute. I love carrying it and watching the light pictures sway as I'm walking. It can be a little trippy, because the light is moving and you're focused on that, so your brain thinks that the ground is moving. The pictures it makes are beautiful, and the light inside casts a yellow candle like glow.I have noticed that these last quite a long time once fully charged. If it's a cloudy day, the battery will expire after only a little while (a couple of hours). If you have many cloudy days in a row, it's going to last less and less.

Add some warm light to your summer patio outings. Charges during the day and illuminates in the evening.

Wow, this is one pretty lantern. It makes a very pretty pattern when lit and looks just as nice in the daytime. Has that copper look to it which gives it an antique vibe. The light is strong enough to show the pattern very well. Love it!

Lovely lantern! I have this lantern and another one that are next to each other on a shepherd’s hook, this one is by far way brighter than the other one. The design is nice and creates a wonderful ambiance.

This solar-powered lantern is lightweight and sturdy. The solar panel at the top should be positioned to receive several hours of direct sunlight. After the first couple of days, it was fully charged and the light would last the full nighttime. The burnished copper finish and floral/hummingbird cutout patterns in the metal on the sides and bottom project onto the surfaces around the lantern, which is really pretty. It’s more of a decorative lantern than a serious source of light, but it also can provide decent illumination. The lantern does not come with a hanger but we purchased one separately that stakes into the ground and has a hook to hang the lantern onto several inches off the ground—it could also hang from a higher surface or be placed on a glass tabletop but you may not be able to appreciate the full lighted image projection effect.
