Great charging time, beautiful bright realistic flame that stays bright all night, very lightweight design, makes a great table centerpiece or a nice touch hanging on your patio/porch.Not thrilled with the cheesy clip for hanging. Don't trust it to hold so I just created my own which was easy to do thanks to the design of the handle. The handle has a designed notch in the middle for hanging the later and preventing it from slipping and hanging lopsided. The notch allows it to hang straight and stay straight. Do wish it had a better included hanging option instead of the plastic alligator clip. The light itself is amazing and well worth it.

We have a kind of spooky mid-evil theme going on in our yard, torch lights everywhere.... on the front porch, lining the driveway and a few in various bushes. This torch light is a lot like many others like it out there, it does a good impression of flames, cuts on at dark but only lasts a few hours even after a good day of sun. It works like it's suppose to though, hopefully we will get a year or more out of it.

I love "flame" lanterns, especially if they're solar, so I ordered this as soon as I saw it. In person, it unfortunately looks pretty cheap--the enitre thing is plastic. And the "flame" is not nearly as realisitic as some other solar lights I've got. I do like that this one has a clip so that you can securetly attach it to a hook (in my case, I attached it to one of our shepherd's hooks). There's a button that has to be pushed to turn it on but after that you can allow it to charge and it will come on as it gets dark outside.Even though it works, I find it just mediocre. The value isn't good enough considering how cheap it looks up close.

I have always liked the flickering lamps or bulbs and have several of them outside in my driveway lights. This lamp has an integrated battery and charges quickly with sunlight, to run for about 8 hours. Currently, I use it in my living room in a niche for when I watch TV and I love looking at it. The design is very simple but it does have a kind of elegant look to it with the clean lines on it.The only “negative” I can say about it is that the on/off button is a bit awkwardly located under the top part and one has to push it in very deep for the lamp to come on or shut off. Overall, this is not a big deal but I wanted to mention in here.Putting the lamp together was kind of easy, but I did need to look at the manual, which is a bit small and not very clear.

These are good weatherproof lights that should last a while as they are plastic and not the metal ones we have been getting previously that end up rusting out fairly quickly and failing around the solar panel seal. The flame light is in the center white tube area. The light is quite a red/orange flickering flame and not as yellow-orange as previous ones. It seems quite well-made and sturdy. It fell off the balcony railing last night onto the deck without any damage at all.Although they should last well, the plastic just makes them feel a bit cheaper in my opinion.

Looks nice in the tree at night. It's a bit plastic like feeling, but you can't really tell when it's hanging from a tree.

This is a beautiful little lantern! I love that it is solar rechargeable and lasts about 6 hours on a full charge. It has a very fine and beautiful flickering effect. I also like the cut out design on the sides. Great little lantern!

I've bought a variety of these flickering lanterns and this one is not one I would recommend. They certainly took a lot of liberties on their image of this product. First of all the flame doesn't go to the edge, instead it is confined to a small opaque plastic tube in the middle. The flickering effect is primitive and repetitive. The light works okay, and you can run it for several hours at night with a full solar charge, but it looks cheap and does not compare well with others I have purchased.
