This disconnect switch is built well and operates smoothly. The connectors operate as expected and make good connections. I like that they give you the extra mc4 connectors. This works well between my 600 watts of solar panels and my 12 volt, 40 amp solar charge controller. The lid over the switch has a gasket and it seals well, making me confident that this is water tight for rain.

This DC breakerโs solid. Comes pre-wired with solar connections on both ends, so setupโs easy. Right now, Iโve got it hooked up between my charge controller and a 50-watt solar panel to keep my backup portable solar generators. Eventually, planning to use it for another solar setup.Works great, does what itโs supposed to. Positive disconnect is reliable, and the indicators make it obvious when itโs on or off. Built to handle outdoor conditions too, which is a big plus. The connectors are way better than the rigid ones on my other unitโthese are way more convenient. And itโs small but packed with features.Also, this disconnect switch is well-built and runs smooth. The connectors make solid connections. The lidโs got a gasket and seals tight, so rainโs not a problem.Overall, solid little unit. It works great for keeping solar setups in check.

Installing it I shorted out my array and it flipped just as it should, so I have confidence that it will work for that. I got it to be a disconnect, but nice to know the breaker side works as well.

Very much impressed with the kit. I like that it is complete allowing you to make your own MC4 connector to this. The cover fits snug on top and is not loose. The switch feels heavy duty and sturdy. Great item for the outdoors and makes going off-grid really easy!

This is a great little DC breaker with pre wired solar connections at both ends. Already have it in use between my charge controller and a 50 watt solar panel I use to keep my backup batteries charged up for the ham radio. Eventually this one is being installed at the solar pump at my windmill.Works great, positive disconnect and indicators show when it is in use and when it is off. Weather proof for our outdoor farm projects and the connectors work great. I have another one of these but it has ridged connectors built on to the box. These are much nicer. The small size of this unit is a plus too. Small in size big in features!
