Got this for my 12’ pool, I only had room for one of the two panels and I had to kindof rearrange things to get that to work but it works good. I needed to hook my pump up to the pool drain since I needed extra one since I also have a sand filter. Works good and I think it helps since it takes the colder water from the bottom and heats it up.It only works when the sun is shining so don’t turn the pump on if it’s not getting direct sunlight. Water comes out warmer than the pool pretty much all day when the sun is shining, slowing warming it up or keeping it warm if the cover is off. Pool never got above 25c but now gets to 32c but I also have a cover for the pool so combined it’s working good. And this is just with the one solar heater, box comes with 2. Next year I’m going to try to set up the other one continued along the side of my pool. I couldn’t do it because I don’t have enough attachments but the pipe is standard 1.5” PVC so you can pretty much set it up anyways you can imaging . I hope it lasts many years.

Stays together until you actually start running water through it. Then since there is less water in your pool, the sun can heat it up faster

So far it works great. The only down side it it was difficult to put together. The instructions we very vague. "You must insert the baffle in the correct position or efficiency will be compromised" but then isn't specific on what, where, or what direction it should be. It was also physically difficult for me to put together by myself.

If you can get the pieces together without it breaking, then it works great. But the plastic is so flimsy and the way you have to twist the pieces to connect, makes it very difficult to not break anything. The valve should not be optional, it should be mandatory. If you don’t use the “optional“ valve, it actually will make your pool colder at night if you don’t prevent the water from going through it.
