Does not work as advertised, barely moves any air with all THREE fans running. You need to leave another window on the opposite side of the car open to get any benefit. Or, is it the open window that is venting the heat. The fans on this thing surely don't.Not waterproof, leaks significantly into the car with any amount of rain.One fan quit working only a few days after putting into service.Basically this is a piece of junk. Don't waste your money.

I'm not sure this product lasted 30 days. I checked the car 2 days ago and it is completely dead. does not respond to sunlight and batteries are dead. it is in direct sunlight but not responsive.amazon should pull these products for the protection of its customers. it seamed to work when I first put it in the car to protect car from the heat build up.I did not check it enough, my son checked the car and said it was cool but no says he never heard the fan because it is loud. Thank goodness they weather has been coolrecommendation do not buy this product or any other resembling this product

Loved it. Worked as advertised. Kept truck temperature bearable. Once temperatures remained over 100 deg for the past few weeks all the hinges failed. I would buy again if hinges made of metal.

Got this in the nick of time. Works as descripted. When the sun hits the panels, it goes straight to work. Noticeable difference.Only thing you got to worry about is the plastic attachments to secure the product in place. Also remembering not to lower the window that has the product on it. Other than that, it works like a charm.

It keeps the heat from building up by power venting, just remember to park at an angle to ensure the solar panel gets adequate sunlight

It works it takes out some of the Heat from the vehicle. You have to have the vehicle in a direct sunlight position for the side you have the fan on. It did not take long before the solar panel broke off and separated from the fan. It still works it's just being held together by a couple wires.

I was skeptical about this, but thought I would give it a try for the low price.It actually works!! It doesn't "cool" the vehicle interior, but it does keep that insane melting heat wave from causing a breathing emergency as you get into your vehicle on a summer day.

This is a great piece to help reduce heat inside car during summer. It might not help a lot cooling down the interior but there is something to exhaust the heat than nothing.Easy to install less than 1 minute. But the first time I did it was all wrong and almost crashed this solar vent plastic top edge. There was a gap.Finally I figured what was wrong and luckily I didn't throw the remaining rubber strip (the instruction called it "TAPE").I give it one star because of poor instruction. You can hardly see what the instruction says on the manual.This is an overpriced product with poor instructions. Dont Buy.

This review is mainly on the product itself. after looking at several similar products and reviews I ordered this item. At first, the product seemed to function as intended, charging appeared to work good, the fans came on as soon as the sun hit the solar panels. You do have to be careful on installing it as power windows can go up pretty fast which; if not lined up, can cause the solar panel part to break or come apart.2 issues:1. I found that if fully installed in the window channel, the solar part will not go down as the window glass keeps it propped up. No big deal but you do have to constantly install and uninstall if you want to drive the vehicle as you couldn't just leave it installed all the time.2. The main issue is on the plastic housing. After using the item for a week in California August/September 98 degree weather, the housing started to warp and would no longer lined up with the window guide/channel and the solar panel broke off at the swivel.Such a neat innovation but I think it still needs more R&D. Probably would cost more too.
