I got these UGDLUCK Solar Step Lights for the stairs in my neighborhood common area. They are great help in traversing a set of stairs that can be quite hazardous. They are bright enough that I don’t need one for every step. The IP67 rating is about right, they are durable and waterproof enough that they have made it through several days of snow and many days of heavy rain without losing a single light. My neighbors have thanked me and I feel safer on the stairs. I recommend these to anyone who has stairs they must walk at night. They improve safety. These exceeded my expectations, I thought I would certainly lose one or more over the winter. For their durability and bright light, they are a good value for the money; 5-stars.

These solar lights look great!I use them on our back porch, pictures are attached. They light up really really well. I have not tried the colors yet, but I am very happy with the white light. Because we live in a snowy area, I have not attached them to the steps directly with tape or screws. I figure we are unlikely to kick them when they are sitting on the edge, and it gives us the option to remove them quickly before a snowfall if necessary. The one item I don't like about these is the definite need for full sun in order to charge well. Our back porch is in mostly shade for the majority of the day. The lights do get enough charge to light the steps until about 10:00 p.m., But they fade quickly. By comparison, when we leave them out in a sunny area to charge, they last well into the wee hours of the morning. I consider taking a point off for that, and ultimately decided that had more to do with my step design and willingness to move them on a daily basis.

I have been playing with these lights inside due to bad weather outside even though they say they are waterproof and I love the colors. I put them on the window sill and they absorbed enough sunlight daily to stay lit all night. Very easy to use, remove the pvc over the solar portion, press the mode button on one side to select color then the led light on the other side turns on automatically at dusk and stay lit until dawn or the battery runs out, whichever comes first, then charge themselves when the sun shines again. The 4 pack came with a small instruction sheet and enough screws, double stick tape, and mounting plates but I did not use any of them, I simply placed outside on my steps and they work great. I like that they can be positioned to shine the light in different directions and I love the variety of colors includes shades of whites, red, green, pink, blues, and an option to cycle through the colors. They are small, each 4" x 2.75" x 2.75" x 2" but do a decent job lighting the steps. The box is 6" x 3.5" x 2.5" and can be used to store them in.UPDATE: Lights are still working great in charging daytime and staying lit nighttime but they are not staying on whatever solid color I've selected, each night they change to the next color in the cycle. I've even brought them back inside to make sure no one is messing with them, they are doing it by themselves. They do stay on the multicolor changing option though. So I'm still using them because I like having the light and they are easy to use, I just don't know why the solid colors change or how to fix.

These are great and have held up in the cold winter so far but we do have really hot summers so I'm curious how they'll hold during then. I put mine on my steps for my second story porch and they help keep them lit at night so I don't trip or fall and are just at the right bright ness. Seeing and feeling their build quality in person shows me the price is great for these especially for how many you get. I'll probably be buying more for more of my steps that don't have any on them.Update: So I bought more and I'm starting to notice these barely hold a charge at all no matter how sunny the day is which defeats the purpose of the lights. They turn off after about 2-3 Hrs after it gets dark. They should work for at least quite a while at night especially when there has been good sun during the day but these unfortunately do not. I have cheaper LED lights that stay on most of the night that receive less sun than these. Definitely steer clear of these.

Outside Solar Step Lights, customize MultiColored/Whites, with Mounting Plate or Use 3M Tape, by UGDLUCK. I have found these step lights to be pretty good and working quite well and consistently for me. I have been using them for a couple months now consistently. They are still working, I like how I am able to customize a color, or white setting. With proper sun exposure for daylight charging they will run approximately 4-5 hours at night, and that is plenty for me. I do try to clean the solar panel regularly as that helps make a difference as well. I like being able to light up stairs, it’s a good safety feature.

Very pleased. I have 14 stairs and I tried out just two of these lights, they are bright enough to extend to three steps around them. Now that I know how well they work I will purchase more. What’s groovy is that they come with nine color, Spectrum And the 10th changes color I could see this being really cool for a swimming pool area. I just love it on my stairs. I will update as I see how long they last. Right now I’m jazzed!

I like the fact that there was different colors, but I think I have to Velcro it into the wall because it’s on cement steps and I can’t drill through it
