These were a lot smaller than anticipated.THey work pretty wellWe need solar lights at our church but the thought was for the parking area. These work best at our small house on the site. They are bright enoughThey weren't bad to installThey serve a good purpose overall again being that they are a lot smaller than we thought. Not a bad purchase.

Solar Street Lights Outdoor,12000LM LED Solar Street Lights with Remote Control,Motion Sensor Lights, Commercial Solar Lights for Outside, Yard, Garage, Barn, Driveway-2PACK(Jan 15, 2025)I appreciate that these have the options to be motion activated or turned on with the remote. And I love that it can be adjusted to the brightness! That way, if we only got a little sun, we can have it at 30% for longer, instead of it dying in 1-2 hours at full brightness. My husband is impressed with the brightness and is anxious to get them hung up outside!Highly recommend!Happy Shopping!

These lights seem not quite as bright as advertised, but still they are plenty bright. Installation is pretty standard and easy and takes a short time with a screwdriver. I use my variable speed drill with a screwdriver bit and it went fast. The installation options are fine and are average. Just remember that the solar panel when the light is installed needs to get some direct sunshine on it when possible, so in my location (northern hemisphere) than rules out most south facing walls. But also remember, that you can install this in places you can't easily install a wired light. This requires no wiring and can even be placed on a tree or pole as long as it can get some direct sunlight on it each day.The mode of operation I like to use is the one where it is dim from dusk to dawn, but when motion is detected, it switches to full brightness and then switches back after a short time after no motion is detected anymore.

Great little lights very well built, I was just a little bit surprised how small they are, they do work but they're brightness is pretty much comparable to their size.

I've been on the fence about ordering these lights. The mounting brackets are flimsy. I expect to find the lights on the ground after a windy day. Maybe I can put them next to the windows inside my garage so they charge and could be used if the power goes out? They are not very bright, like small flashlight bright. I do like the remote to be able to turn it off after they've been mounted too high to reach.

Product: Solar Street LightsBrand: VowelsOneGenerally, these lights work as described. Each light illuminates (turns on) via a push button directly on the lamp or through the remote. Two remotes were included in the package; each requires two AAA batteries that are not included. The lights recharged under sunlight. The lights are physically smaller than I expected based on the listing. There is nothing on the box that explains how they reached 12000 lumen. Is that for one or both combined? When I searched online for information describing 12000 lumen, this level of illumination is described as being extremely bright—too bright for car headlights, for example. However, I have a headlamp brighter than one of these lights. The current price of almost $70, without tax or shipping, seems too high for what I received. I’m going to keep looking.

VowelsOne has a 6-page manual. The brightness, when on, is adjustable from 25% to 100% in four increments. The controller allows the light to stay on for 2, 3. 5. 6, or 8 hours continuously (after dusk) whereupon it will automatically switch to the motion sensor mode. Alternately, in the "Motion Sensor Mode", when motion is detected, the light will come on at full brightness and then decrease to 30% once no more motion is detected. Therefore it illuminates and consumes battery energy all night. The operation of the controller is well documented in the instructions. Batteries are NOT supplied with the controller. The solar panel is only 72% the size of the best competing brand reviewed when comparing the number of LEDs. According to the Amazon.com VowelsOne site, the VowelsOne unit uses 5730 SMD (surface mount device) LED technology. These are larger LEDs and can dissipate up to 70–100 lumens (per LED) at 1W. In a side-by-side comparison with four other Amazon.com-offered brands, the VowelsOne unit brightness was the least bright. The VowelsOne Solar Street Light demonstrates 'mid-range' economy of the units tested and reviewed (see chart). It is the brightest of those tested and has the greatest light-gathering surface area, potentially making it the fastest to recharge. Unfortunately it allows motion detection with the ability to only dim at night, thereby consuming more battery power and potentially depleting the battery before dawn.
