I agree with other reviews I've read and that it is not durable for pets and kids. However, it does exactly what I expected. I wanted to reduce sun and heat in my upstairs windows that have half a screen. I used the screening on the upper sash.

Like the fabric of the solar screen. We had wires fiberglass screenThe cats destroyed it. This fabric does not rip.

Amazing - significantly reduced heat. I live in the desert and have it on the inside of my sun- facing windows and it works fantastic. The only reason it wasn’t 5 stars is that the edges were frayed and it came in 2 pieces instead of one nice evenly cut piece.

Seems to be durable so far, used it to build several new screens for older windows. Worked well for that purpose. Having some doubts about the solar claims, but it is a fine mesh screen that keeps out even small bugs which is the main reason for having it on in the first place.
