We tried this brand because we needed something wider for one of our windows. There is very little UV filtering with a drastic difference in the light coming in compared to the windows on either side of it. We also found it difficult to use when installing. It kept bunching up in ways other screens haven’t so far. Unfortunately we’ll need to replace it as soon as we can find another material in the size we need.

I live in AZ and the summers are brutal, I replaced my screen in my kitchen with this fabric and I could feel the difference! the only thing is the instructions are pretty much non-existent, I decided to put the shiny side of the fabric to the outside and so glad I did, I believe that is what it should be although the instructions say nothing about it. And the view out the window is super clear. That photo is the view out of my kitchen window, took the photo behind the screen as I didn't want to scare the deer.

The biggest thing about the material of the screen is the sun blocking...we have install this on 2 of the windows and wow...great job protecting against sun!!!

The sun shines into our patio all afternoon and we were looking for screen that would mitigate the heat and glare. The description sounded like it was really going to help, but it’s not perceptively different from regular screen. And the professional who installed it for us said it was really difficult to work with because it stretches more than regular screen.
