For example: A flange-to-flange slide-out size of 64” (or 5’3”) will require an awning width selection of 6’ (5’7” fabric) for complete coverage. Also, you can place your slide topper up to 5” above the trim on top of your slide-out room, giving you more flexibility during installation.

Biggest issue was shipping. I ordered 4 of these and only one came complete and not damaged enough to send back for another one. Easy to install and so far seem to work good.

There were a lot of reviews. The one I was really looking for is, WHAT size do I need? It was never really answered. I can tell you that my slide I needed to cover is 80”. There was one comment that said he would order the next size from what he received. So I took that advice and ordered a 7ft fabric 7’6” awning. It fit perfect. I can tell you that if I ordered the one that was just my size, I would not have been happy.So I am also asking Solera to have a better sizing chart available to take some of the guess work out of it.

Setting the slide bracket set screws was a bit fussy but not a big deal. The instal was easy with basic tools. I was able to install it alone but two people to do the final placement would make it easier.

I received this item for the second time. The first time it was the wrong size and wrong color. Just received the new item only to find it is the correct color but not the size I ordered. I order one 85"long and received one 89" long. I am going to see if it will fit and if not will be returning it.

Just ordered it on Monday came a day early arrived yesterday pulled it out of the box had everything I needed including the awning rail witch in the description said it did not comeWith so I was happy took about a hr and a half to put on as I had to remove old gutter went up easy with two ppl I would recommend this to anyone who’s it looking for one

I’d advise that you add a few inches to the recommended method of measuring what length to order. If you follow the instructions on the site, you’ll end up with the awning just barely reaching the sides of the slide. I would’ve preferred having it overlap the edges by an inch or two. Also, it’s definitely a 2-person, 2-ladder installation process. It’s also important to spread the ends of the track before inserting the awning, in order to avoid possible tears. If you do get a tear, the FlexSeal tape is an excellent, strong solution.

These slide awnings are not exactly an easy DIY project but can be done. Don't think you'll do it by yourself - you need additional help. Once installed, works great and will keep me from having to climb ladders to remove debris.

This is a small roll out awning to keep foliage, rain & snow from accumulating on an RVs slide room limiting potential leaks to the interior. It arrived sooner than expected and in perfect condition. It is easy to install for anyone with reasonable capabilities and works as it should.
