These wood hangers aren't the strongest but they are good quality for the price, and a nice upgrade from my usual plastic hangers I have always used. I had broken many plastic hangars using them to hang my coat collection. I mainly ordered these wood hangers to hang my coats and suits, and I will say that these hangers would have been much nicer if they had the clips for clipping my suit pants to keep my pants from slipping off the hangers at times.Overall I'm glad I finally made the upgrade and the price of these hangers is competitive when compared to similar items.

I like that these hangers have notches that keep jackets from slipping off. I don't like that they are missing the bottom clip from say, hotel hangers that allow you to hang your pressed pants properly.Overall quality is good, however the hook had popped out of some of these, so built quality is merely good, not great.If you want some cheap but decent hangers these will do. If you want a hanger that lets you clip your dress pants...no. Get something else.

Of COURSE old-time movie star Joan Crawford famously hated wire hangers! I can see why: They become a tangled-up mess, don't retain their shape, don't support heavy items properly, and pants slip right off the wire bottoms. The free ones from the dry cleaner's, with cardboard pants holders, are not any better, because they always end up sagging in the middle. Wire hangers even waste your time, as you bother to untangle a sloppy bunch of them looking for the "best" one for a favorite clothing item. Plastic hangers are not much better. So, how to upgrade your closet full of expensive clothes?These impossible-to-tangle, genuine solid wood hangers are the elegant, PERMANENT solution! These arrived in a HEAVY box of 60 hangers, with edges nicely protected (see photo). Each is flat with a premium-looking, smooth, walnut-colored finish. They are substantial and carefully assembled, suggesting to my mind that they'll last a long, long time. With Identical sides and a reversible hook, there's no "wrong" direction to begin hanging an item. The pants pole is left a bit rougher than the very smooth top part, to provide just a bit of friction. (You don't want it perfectly smooth, because then it would be slippery, like plastic.) The ONE caution I can think of, is that these are HEAVY. A stack of ten (see photo) weighs about five pounds! So make sure that your closet pole is strong and well-supported.My summary: I'm delighted to now have a very practical, beautiful supply of premium-grade hangers, for myself and my wife. We agree that they should last us for many, MANY years, so we've discarded all of the nasty-looking, cheap old wire and plastic ones. Our closets actually function better and look neater now, as these hangers are impossible to tangle. TREAT YOURSELF! I think it's well worth buying the one-time supply of 60, to replace the sloppy mess of hangers you've been storing your valuable clothing on.
