I am so impressed by this Ahso. It's very heavy and rich looking. I hope I don't need it anytime soon, but am glad that it's in my wine accessory drawer just in case. You won't be disappointed if you decide to choose this brand. Very solid and beautiful. I had one previously that I lost in one of my many moves. But it was nowhere near as heavy (or strong) as this one is. Glad I bought it!! It's worth every penny.

I’ve never had success using a two-prong cork puller before, so I was pleasantly surprised by how well this one works. I’m used to bar keys or corkscrews with arms, but this puller was a game changer for me. The prongs are incredibly sturdy—far stronger than others I’ve tried in the past—and they make all the difference. They didn’t bend. They didn’t break. They didn’t leave cork crumbs in the wine.At first, I doubted I’d be able to fit the prongs between the bottle rim and the cork, but they slid in smoothly, and the cork came out in a snap. It’s surprisingly effective and easy to use. A bonus is the sleek protective case that keeps the prongs safe and adds a touch of style. On top of all that, the set includes a foil disc for dripless pouring–an extremely simple and effective accessory that’s become a must at my wine bar. It’s a simple, elegant, and nice enough set to leave out on the bar when guests are over. I’m impressed with this set and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and stylish wine opener.

The Ah-So or Butler's friend is a great corkscrew to include with along with your standard waiter's corkscrew. After getting the hang of using it, it becomes a simple matter to twist the cork out the bottle with the entire cork intact (no holes, etc). This is why it's been labelled as the butler's friend implying that butlers would use it to sip a little off the top of the bottle and place the cork back in. If you never used this, do look at the many videos out there. Where this comes in handy is ofter with older bottles where you might see the cork getting pushed back into the bottle or it's looking fragile. With this corkscrew, you gently wiggle the two sides along the side of the cork. Once all the way down, a simple twist removes the corks. I needed to replace my existing one which was getting old and worn out. This one has a nice black finish to it and it worked like a charm. How durable remains to been seen and I will update if I detect issues. But overall - it's works as it should. Also a nice addition was the inclusion of a few pouring disk.
